Real American cheese (not processed cheese food!). Just like that well known brand name sliced cheese (name starts with K) at a fraction of the price. Perfect for sandwiches or making mac %26 cheese.

Where do I start. I guess by thanking Wal-Mart for their great value brand, and to dairy farmers around the world for their part in making sure that we get great value cheese slices by the blocks. They are making the world a more cheesier and happy place. I even went to bed feeling cheesier!!

Several months ago, I asked ChatGPT what the closest American cheese slices were to the ones used by McDonald's. This was the recommendation, and I've been buying them ever since. It's great for burgers or grilled cheese, sandwich sandwiches, or just to eat plain out of the package.

This American cheese. If you were a child in the 70's this presentation will look familiar. If you ever worked at a fast food restaurant the block and slices will bring back memories of bulk buys and uniformity. Unless you prefer the plasticized individually wrapped yellow goo this is the best cheese outside a deli. And if you handle it right the best value. Break the block down to fit into sandwich size bags to separate them into familiar block sizes and in case a week or twos is lost to forgotten sealing by the untrained individual wrapping visitor or to freeze a couple of sections if you are really a slow cheese eating family. Perfect cold cheese for sandwiches alone or with meat, on crackers or burgers, chef salads or grilled cheese. Size is perfect in dimension and thickness. Texture is solid creamy when cold and gooey sumptuous when melted.

this is real cheese not fake "cheese food or product" so if you want health benefits along with taste this is the cheese for you because it is not singlely wrapped you also get more for your money be sure to wrap it up good and place in a Ziploc bag with the air out of it for best storage

Why does the bulk item have more sodium than the smaller package of the exact same? Item my husband can't have that much salt and these are really salty to him. otherwise I love the value for the money and that I can get it at Walmart and not a bulk club store.

This sliced American cheese cost less than better tasting name brands. It melts well for grilled cheese sandwiches. The size of the slices are smaller than other brands. You have to use 2 slices to cover a slice of bread.At least its actual 100% cheese. Unfortunately, its all i can afford.

Cheese quality is very comparable to big brands. My rating is related to packaging. The cheese is sliced but not individually wrapped. Once you open the package the entire 72 slices are open in your refrigerator and tend to dehydrate and get hard.

I specifically read the product information prior to ordering this cheese to make certain each slice was individually wrapped prior to purchasing. When I got it home, the slices were in fact NOT individually wrapped! Walmart, please correct this information!!!

I usually love this cheese. I just discovered that the seal was peeled away and it dried all the cheese out. I can't even cut away the dried bits because it went in between each slice. So the people who manufactured it, received it, stocked it, and picked it all just let it go like it was fine.
