Great Value Deluxe Moist Devil's Food Chocolate Cake Mix, 15.25 oz Box

Don't ever make something for your granddaughter when she's five unless you want hit up when she's 15 for another birthday. I was tasked with making chocolate ice cream cone cupcakes. I bought this mix for that and although you aren't supposed to eat batter I tried a taste off the beaters before baking these nightmares. It tasted like the box read for my little devil. I sent them home with her and family and later learned that all of them were gone in a weekend. I'm sure it won't be a one-time purchase as someone else will be wanting cake or cupcakes.

I love the great chocolate taste, price and convenience. This makes up a good standard sheet cake or layer cake good for any occasion. But my favorite is making quick individual mug cakes for a quick chocolate cake fix as dessert or snack. No eggs needed and it cooks in microwave in about 3 minutes. This cake mix is great for these, no eggs, no butter just some oil and water and if fancy a little glaze. I will continue to buy this Great value cake mix, I always want it in my pantry for a quick dessert!

Mix one box of cake mix with one can of strawberry pie filling, (nothing else). Pour into 9 by 13 pan, bake at 350 for 30 m inutes,(Poke to check doneness, may need to bake longer). Good as is or you may want to frost.

Walmart Great value, devil food cake, mix is very good. It's just as good as brand name cake mix. if you're using it as a dump cake or once you frosted it, you can't tell the difference between this and a higher price tag cake mix. Why pay more?

This tastes even better than name brand. Great flavor. Moisture is average as written and perfect with an extra yolk. I add a teaspoon of espresso powder and it gives it a deeper, wonderful flavor, but it's not necessary.

I make lots of cupcakes and ALWAYS USE GREAT VALUE products...never a complaint...always a compliment!!
