Great Value Deluxe Moist White Cake Mix, 15.25 oz Box

I've tried all brands of Cake Mixes and this one tastes as good or better than some of the name-brand, higher priced mixes. I made this paired with homemade cream cheese frosting and within three days it was gone. I like that you get more ounces in the box and you pay less.

Great Value baking mixes are indeed great. They are a good way to keep basic baking staples and mixes on hand for anytime you want to, or need to, bake a good treat. This cake mix bakes up nicely, as well as any other brand or name brand, and is more affordable.

Great for dump cake recipes. For a family of two, I divide the box. Store one half for another day. It has a nice taste. Better than name brands out there.

I use all the time! I make jello cakes, crumbled topping coffee cakes and get a bit inventive with recipes on you tube! Great price and great quality!!!! I'd never spend more on a similar product!!

You can't beat this mix for a buck. I use butter, whole eggs and milk. It still looks pretty white and it tastes good. My grandkids request white cake for cupcakes. I've used flavorings in it, and it turns out well. It goes with just about any frosting. It works perfectly for strawberry short cake if you're not big on pound cake.

Easy strawberry short cake. Just mix one box of mix and one can of strawberry pie filling (nothing else). Pour into 9 by 13 bake at 350 for 30 minutes. (Poke and check doneness, may need to bake longer.) Top with Cool Whip

I make mini cakes with these in the mini loaf pans and then my daughter decorates them according to the event and we give them out to her teachers as gifts. I make it with milk instead of water, and butter instead of oil. That is a whole game changer, it makes the most succulent cake imaginable this way!

Easy to make, very delicious and moist, white as a cloud, but it dd not rise correctly and did not bake evenly. The cake rose in the middle like a bubble, the top cracked open and it looked like the rolling hills of home when done. I then had to make one from scratch as it was for a party, and the scratch cake came out perfect. I don't know what happened, but 3 stars from me.

I don't understand using only egg whites nowadays for baking. What happened to crack two large eggs or three and add them whole? This cake shrunk about a half of an inch away from all sides. Never had that happen before.
