Great Value Deluxe Moist Yellow Cake Mix, 15.25 oz Box

I have to say, I prefer this cake mix over other brands. I do use butter, an extra egg and a little vanilla. I've tried it with milk instead of water, but to me it makes it a little too dense. My family loves this yellow cake mix with a good whipped chocolate frosting.

I use this mix to make banana muffins, I can't taste the difference and nobody else can, taste exactly the same. Also except for Pillsbury cake mix this great value has 15 oz's not 13 like the other cake mixes, shrinkflation, all the cake mixes used to be 18 oz's until they got greedy, now they're 13 oz but price is like .70 more.

This great value brand (walmart) yellow cake was just as good as any on the market. Makes baking a cake easy (%26 delicious!). Easy to follow directions included on box, and doesn't take long at all. Highly recommend, especially when it goes on sale. Then I stock up!

i can only review this as i used it which was a dump cake. 9x13 pan. 2 cans peaches with juice on bottom. sprinkle cinnamon sugar lightly over peaches. dump cake mix over entire pan of peaches. 2 sticks butter slices up, all over the top, then very light dusting of brown sugar. it was amazing!!! flavor of cake was great and texture was perfect. entire family loved. way less fat and sugar

we buy a lot of bananas, and we never seem to make it through all of them before they turn brown. This has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the produce I get from Walmart, as it has always happened no matter what store we shopped at. I buy plain yellow cake mix so those bananas don't go to waste. You mix four mashed bananas with one box of yellow cake mix and a splash of vanilla extract. You bake it like cupcakes to make banana muffins. You don't have to add anything else! However, my husband likes chocolate chips in his, so I add those. If you always keep a box of inexpensive yellow cake mix around, you will never have to throw out your bananas. Sometimes, when I have just two brown bananas, I will make half a box of cake mix and put the other half in the freezer for next time.

I keep a couple boxes of this mix in my pantry. great for a batch of cupcakes or a cake its a fluffy mix and easy to make. I add applesauce to my mix usually for moisture. with this mix add your favorite strawberries or pineapple chunks its already got seasoning in the mix and ready for any occassion to make.

This cake mix is affordable, tasty and easy to use to make more than just cake. I used it to make oatmeal cookies and let me tell you for fast cookies they were wonderful. I'm using this brand only for my fast desserts from now on.

A box of yellow cake mix is such a versatile pantry item. Great for any occasion as a quick dessert idea. This mix always has a tasty butter like flavor.

I made a pineapple upside down cake with this mix. I came out perfectly and tasted great. I have bought name brands, and this was a better value and worked equally as well.
