Great Value Diced Avocados, 10 oz Bag (Frozen)

With as healthy and delicious as avocados are, I have tried so many times to make them a bigger part of my diet, but every time I ran into the problem of how fast they go bad, and I'm not about to drive to the store and stand in line to checkout a couple avocados every couple days. But FROZEN -who knew this was even possible? Perfectly ripe, and already pre-diced in perfect bite-sized chunks? WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE???

These Great Value Diced Avocados have been such a handy little freezer staple for me. They are absolutely perfect for protein shakes and smoothies. I love that I do not even have to add ice because the frozen avocado gives you that thick, creamy texture all on its own. It makes everything smooth and rich without watering it down. My favorite way to use them is blended with vanilla protein powder and almond milk. It turns into the creamiest, most satisfying shake. You get that healthy fat boost and beautiful texture without having to worry about cutting and storing fresh avocados. So convenient, easy to portion out, and always ready when you need them. I keep a bag on hand at all times.

I'm so glad I found this!!! It's perfect. I almost didn't get it but I read some of the reviews and gave it a shot. Perfect to grab some then return it back to the freezer for the next time. Cut into small cubes so you can choose the right size portion you need. I love avocados 🥑 but they go bad way too fast before I can eat them. I tend to just a portion of one and promise myself that I will finish it off. But I don't. I also have difficulty with cutting them in to the right size but no problem now . I'll definitely be getting them again Highly recommend

I have no idea what avocados taste like, and honestly, I don't want to know. But my doctor makes me include them in my diet, and I've found the best way to do that is adding them to my morning smoothies. The other fruits hide whatever avocado flavor there is, and I still get all the vitamins and good stuff my doctor wants me to have. These frozen avocado pieces are the perfect solution. I don't have to buy and cut up fresh avocados, and they're already chopped up and ready for my smoothies. Even better, the price is super affordable.

These are really useful if you live alone and don't always need a full avocado. They've been treated so they don't brown the way fresh avocados do. I've started keep a bag in my freezer at all times to throw in tacos or for avocado toast. I'm not sure if they would make good guacamole because the freezer does change the texture slightly. The only negative I've found is that some chunks are hard/unripe but that's only an occasional issue.

Much better than the "fresh" avocados they're selling these days. They're picking them too soon, so the whole avocados in most stores are hard and taste like tree bark. The only other way to get tasty ones is to go to a farmer's market, but who has the time for that? Now and again, these bags have a chunk that is underripe, but it's still a much better bargain and tasty.

Great Value Diced Avocados, 10 oz Bag (Frozen). After receipt I opened the bag and kept frozen but in a glass container. Beyond the plastic, I found the product itself tasted fine and was evenly chopped. Good size. A convenient way to portion out avocados, paired with healthy fats.

Just as an FYI regarding the review of the product sparking in the microwave: they are high in potassium and treated with ascorbic acid to prevent oxidation, the added heat can result in a chemical reaction, thus the spark. Heating avocado will compromise it's nutritional value, so why do it?

This was a really good idea. It was awesome to have avocado chunks when I needed them. The first 2 I bought were great, but the 3rd time I bought them they were hard and had no flavor. I will buy them again because I'm hoping it was a fluke. Like I said... This is a really good idea.

Walmart lost half of my curbside pickup order and damaged other items due to employee mishandling, then refused to refund me for items I never received. This was a curbside pickup, meaning Walmart employees were fully responsible for loading my order into my trunk, and several items were never placed there at all. I did not receive those items, nor did I have possession of the damaged ones in usable condition. I should not be required to get out of my car and supervise employees or verify every item during curbside pickup, as the entire service is designed to be handled by Walmart staff. Their failure to properly load and handle my order is not my responsibility, and refusing a refund for missing and damaged items is unacceptable.
