Set of cutlery consisting of 8 knives, forks and spoons for a total of 24 pieces. It feel s the same as plastic non-composting cutlery and performs the same. This product is made in the USA. They are perfect for an outdoor picnic or anytime you do not wish to use metal cutlery. It is durable enough to be washed (I hand washed it) and reused many times. I like that it will eventually break down since it is made with bio based materials.

What a great idea! Compostable cutlery. In a time when people are being more conscious of the environment, what a great product to come along! Looks and performs like other cutlery I've used in the past but with an added bonus! Conveniently comes in a small box but contains a set of knife, fork and spoon for 8....24 piece total. Very good quality of the Compostable Assorted Cutlery. I was surprised how sturdy the utensils were. The box contains total 24 assorted pieces: 8 forks, 8 knives and 8 spoons. The cutlery are made from certified bio-based material. The utensils are safe to use for your garden compost bin; as well, as regular recycle bin. These are great to use for family gatherings, picnic or pack for lunch boxes. I would highly recommend this product.

I like the Great Value Compostable Assorted Cutlery because it's stronger than everyday plastic cutlery. It seems moser durable. This cutlery is made from certified bio-based material. Its compostability is lab proven and safe for any garden compost bin. These utensils reduce waste but not performance. You can set your table with confidence. Seemed more flimsy compared to other plastics but still got the job done

These assorted cutlery consist of eight forks six and three-quarter inches long that are serrated, eight spoons five and three-quarter inches long holding one and 1/2 teaspoons, and eight forks 6 inches long with four tines. The cutlery is very strong and suitable for cutting meat and other farm food. They are reported as compostable. I find them much more sturdy than any others that I have experienced in the past of any type. Although a bit short I can recommend these as a decent dining experience.

These are not meant for hot foods at all. Don't use the spoon to try to stir your coffee or hot chocolate, nor the knife and fork to try to cut and eat a microwave lasagna or anything similar. These things will go all soft and melty almost immediately.

The forks and spoons melted in my hot food. Not recommended to buy at all.

The spoon literally melted into a J as soon as I put it in my hot coffee to stir it..
