Great Value Disposable Paper Plates, 8.5 in, 100 Count

For my intended use, the Great Value brand stands up well on papper plates, easily exceeding Dixie standard and standing in for Dixie Ultra. As these are single-use items, anyone who needs Dixie Ultra strength and durability should be using real dishes.

for convenience purpose. if you're in a hurry, which most of us are these days and you have kids, guests and you want want to throw together something quick either on the grill, or in the kitchen, these are great, less dishes to wash and perfect for what you need them to do!

The design is nice and it’s still a great price for the product but many times when I pick up the paper plate with even a small item like a snack it would tear the little seam around the edge. This then caused the plate to bend and lose the sturdiness. I will probably buy again because of the price and look of the product for everyday use.

i have been buying these plates for yrs. and in the last few.months i noticed a big difference in the plates.. .price went UP,, value ,strenght of plate went DOWN.. yeah they r still not to bad of plates BUT why short the customer.. they r NOT made the same quality - yet still raising prices.. Very unsatified.. i feel cheated by company.

WHAT has happened to the quality of these plates?? I’ve been buying these for over a decade. My last purchase was a little over a month ago with the now “old design”. Got these this go around and what a change for the worst! Like most everything anymore, charging the same price for a product but changing/ skimpking out on looks and quality! The colors/print look like the printer was running out of ink. These are now SO flimsy that they bend with even the slightest amount of food. Pretty much falling apart by the end of the meal. I am so upset over this. Why?? These are now the same quality as dollar tree paper plates. No joke.

I have bought great value plates for years but they have changed. They are so thin and leak through so we are using 2 at a time. I will not buy them again. I can buy 200 Dixie plates for only $2 more and not have to use 2 at a time, which is a better deal.

I have bought these for years and for a long time they were great, but recently they have become so thin. If you don’t use 2 you’re screwed you can’t carry food on them. They just crumple.. These have really gone downhill. I wouldn’t buy them anymore after this last batch.

Although these plates are pretty, they are not sturdy. The package says 100 count, but it’s actually 50 because you’re forced to utilize a second plate. I’ve bought these a couple of times in the past, and the quality has definitely changed and not for the better. If you’re looking for quality paper plates, check out Sam’s Club, they are sturdy and last longer.

The plates are no longer sturdy . The foods that my grandkids have always eaten from this plate no longer holds up. Any thing hot atomaically softens the plate and it becomes soggyand the plate collapses, such as chicken nuggets, french fries, ketchup. very disappointed. will definetly find something thats more sturdy

You need 3 plates just to hold a sandwich. Any and all liquid leaks right thru it. Can’t use any type of knife, including plastic butter knives, they shred the plate. They are good for food covers in the microwave to keep food from splattering everywhere.
