Great Value Distilled Water, 1 Gallon

I buy this for medical equipment, a CPAP humidifier I use at night. The water is good because I get NO residuals or build up. So, I am confident in the quality of the water for the use in devises or equipment that require purified mineral free water to operate properly over time. I do not consider this water for drinking, there are specifics for that which are potable and labeled specifically as such.

Listen, I don’t usually write reviews for water, but this gallon? This magnificent jug of distilled majesty? It deserves a standing ovation. First of all, it’s so pure, I’m pretty sure angels wept during the distillation process. I opened the cap and half-expected a choir to start singing. No minerals. No taste. No drama. Just vapor-condensed perfection. I used it in my humidifier, and I swear my houseplants applauded. My iron? It’s never steamed so confidently. I even stared at it for five full minutes wondering how something so simple could be so... emotionally fulfilling. If you’re looking for water that’s been through more therapy than I have—this is it. Buy it. Love it. Hydrate responsibly.

It is very good for my venus flytraps and sundews as it tests out as 0.0ppm on my water meter. However, the new jug packaging is terrible! Why did you change it? The new package is much thinner plastic and is almost impossible to pour without it spilling everywhere. As such I have kept 1 of the original jugs and use a funnel to pour the new jug's water into it ( which is a pain and you usually still spill/lose some of the water. ). There is a reason why every other company uses the same 1 gallon jug design ( your old design ), because it works 1000% better than your "new" one. I understand that you may have changed it to lower costs by using this thinner/cheaper plastic design, but you are going to lose even more money if your customers stop buying it altogether because it is to difficult to use!

It came in the new bottles and I prefer the old style that looks like a milk carton because its easier to pour. I ordered on line instead of at the store because the picture on line was the old packaging. Disappointed I got the new packaging instead.

Use distilled water for CPAP machine and iron, so taste is not a concern. However, the bottle has been changed (PET 1 recycle instead of HDPE 2 recycle). I DO NOT like the new bottle and will be buying my distilled water elsewhere as long as Walmart continues to use these hard to handle bottles.

I hate, hate, hate the new bottle! Bring bk tge " milk" jug with handle! this product is always placed on top rack making it hard to reach. The flimsy new containers , stacked one after the other, press together . In addition to the height of placement new packaging lacks comfortable handles making getting gallon down that much harder! And just pouring from the thin plastic is a challenge ! I hate this change!!

I DO NOT like the new bottles!! They are nearly impossible to hold and pour water!! I use the water for my c-pap machine. I have been pouring the water into an old bottle that I had! PLEASE go back to the regular style bottle with the built in handle!!!

Distilled water is distilled water, but a customer should be advised if the packaging radically changes for those of us that use curbside. Walmart distilled water now comes in much taller bottle than before and as I write this review, the picture of the product is still the older bottle. I specifically bought their distilled water because the shorter bottle fits my shelf. I'm sure that the taller, skinnier bottle allows them to put more product on their shelves, but that disregards the customer... or at least inform the customer of the change.

I absolutely despise the new clear containers for distilled water. They are hard to carry--the handle is too small and has sharp edges--and it is difficult to pour without spilling. In the future, I will pay a slightly higher price to get the traditional "milk jug" containers from my local market. (I usually buy one at least every two weeks for my CPAP.

The new container is terrible. The stirrup handle forcing you to balance the container whilst tipping the bottom to pour is unwieldy at best. I was recently near St Louis where the Walmart had the traditional jug style allowing you to pour from a handle not dangle and tip. Please revert to a supplier with the jug style versus the stirrup style. The latter may be more efficient for shipping but is very consumer unfriendly.
