I am starting to familiarize myself with the Great Value brand and have been buying products under this brand. It is as the name implies “great value.” I enjoy the taste of this cold brew concentrate coffee, giving me a choice in how dark I would like my iced coffee. I like the taste of this coffee as I lean towards a darker brew. I have purchased this several times, and will be doing so in the future.
If diluted to your taste this stuff is awesome. I had to find that ratio to hit the sweet spot but it is sooo easy in the morning. I thought it would be fake tasting but it was delicious. I added milk in lieu of water and added some salted caramel syrup 1-2 tsp and so gooood!
Making my coffee in the morning has become so much easier and cheaper when I compare my usage between this and other types of pre-made cold brew coffee brands! If you are a lazy iced coffee maker, like me, this might be a nice change for you, too. The flavor doesn't over power your creamer so you are not having to use more to get the taste you are looking for. I don't use water to make the concentrate, though. I will pour some in my cup, add the creamer I believe I will need, finish it off with milk leaving a little room at the top, and add a little more of whatever it is missing. I decided it was worth a shot and now it is a part of my morning routine.
rich taste , requires adding water as well as whatever cream and sweetener your desire I had a flavored cream and it's very delicious taste just like you bought it somewhere especially if you do it like in a little mixer blended type thing excellent great price
I don't understand all the negative reviews, either. If you just experiment, you will see this coffee truly is as good as the drive-thru. I experimented and found that I prefer 1:3, for example: 4oz coffee and 12oz water. And I love mixing some Torani Puremade caramel syrup and Torani Vanilla syrup in it. I can get 1 large at Dunkins w/ caramel and vanilla and loaded down with ice (reducing the actual amount of drink) or I can make a lot more at home. I have a little 2oz graduated measuring glass for the coffee, 1 cup measuring up for the water and because I use the same glass mug I bought here (for shakes), I can eyeball the water/coffee line and pour in a little caramel and vanilla and it reaches just up to the top of the mug handle. Then there's still a little room to stir in some ice (stirring makes it colder). Perfect every time.
This is my second purchase %26 I am getting familiar about the proper way to mix it with my different coffee creamers to make a better cup of coffee;; I wasn't pleased the first bottle until I started experimenting on how to mix : So I am trying it again: it is so convenient
Idk how to explain it. It tastes like it's soured and gone bad. But it's not expired. If you add enough cream and sugar and flavor coffee syrup you don't taste it but by that point it's barely coffee anymore. I wish there was a great value brand of iced coffee in the carton like Aldi's has 😔
I had great hopes that this would taste smooth and delicious and it is not good at all. I mixed it up according to directions and it was horrible. I added a little bit more thinking that would help and that just compounded the problem. Save your money do not buy this.
I am NOT a picky person. I AM extremely frugal, which means I'll choke down just about anything before throwing it out. But this? This was undrinkable. Straight to the trash. The ingredients list says “coffee” and “natural flavors.” Unless “expired compost” is now considered a natural flavor, I have no idea how they can make it taste so horrendous. Honestly, if misery had a taste, this would be it.
I do not normally do reviews on food or many reviews at all, but I have to say that this is got to be the most disgusting iced coffee I've ever had. It has a weird taste in a even weirder tasting aftertaste. It tastes nothing like cold brew it tastes like it is got some sort of chemical in it. I would stay clear.
