Great Value Double Acting Baking Powder, 8.1 oz

Economically priced, adds to my baked goods rising. They end up big, fluffy and light as a cloud. Time constraints sometimes force me into making a box cake and I always add a little extra baking powder to it which causes alot moisture cake. My homemade biscuits rise up and are big and beautiful. Great product.

I mix Baking Powder with Flour for my Fried Chicken. This works perfectly. My chicken was crispy and delicious. The Great Value brand is equal to the Name Brand and it costs less.

! * on taste because, you can't taste it, at least I can't in your baking. Commonly use this for my biscuits and pancakes. I was ordering from Amazon, but since I discovered Walmart I've been ordering all of my items from Walmart. This baking powder works great for all my baking needs.

I really can't tell a difference between other Brands, when it comes to baking powder. I just recently started buying it to make homemade puddings and pancakes.

I mixed this with ranch seasoning mix and dusted it on fish and baked .I sprayed with olive oil first . The dusting gave the fish a light crust.

I don't know what the difference is between the Great Value baking powder and any other brand. This is a good product and works the same for me whenever I use it for baking. I would recommend it.

This GV baking powder works great with all of my home-baked goods. It is a good size for measuring and storing. Actually, I am using it in my coffee cake that I'm serving this morning. The cake rose perfectly. You've asked about taste ... there really isn't a taste to describe, only that it works to level quick breads, pancakes, etc. It is date stamped for secure use.
