These freezer bags are excellent. They are thick and keep the freezer items from freezer burn for at least six months if items are dried and air squeezed out as much as possible before freezing. if you want longer n protection in the freezer, wrap in Butcher paper first or double bag it. I purchased this item to use for holding different Barbie Doll outfits that I'm making for my church's Christmas for All event for marginalized families in our city. They're thick enough to help keep the outfits safe/together even after these kids get them along with a Barbie Doll. Since I also use these bags for my freezer food, I'll use any leftover bags for myself. Much less expensive than the name brand bags and work just as well.

I use these to freeze meat and they don't get freezer burn. And they are cheap enough. I can send cookies to school in them and not have to worry about the cost of them. It does seem whenever I use the cut out on the box the box sometimes rips, I usually just throw some tape on the weak part and that helps keep it together

Definitely a great value for the money I paid and will surely purchase again when needed. Bag was thick and easy for me to use with the enclosure at the top. Great for me making ice since we recently experienced to extremely devastating whether events here in Hawaii. We lost power and the water was at a premium for a little while. Excellent price and performance. I use them to store used non-flushable feminine hygiene products between trash emptyings, to prevent smells from drawing bugs. That's unorthodox useage, but it works well for my needs; the bags can be opened and resealed multiple times without any breakdown in sealing performance. I do occasionally use (new, unused!) bags for food storage as well, with the same good performance.

Okay, they're not bad. The seals are pretty reliable, and they can hold the amount expected. But let's talk about the pleated bottom. I don't know who in their right mind decided that it would be smart to fold an inch of the bag back up into the base. There's no structural reason to do so--even with the "flat-ish" bottom, you can't just hands-free fill the things, the bag will still fall over, you will still lose half of the payload to your kitchen floor. Just make the bags the way they were supposed to be made, without the pleat--at least the hazards are obvious that way.
