I bought the Great Value Drinking Water, 1 Gallon Jug mainly to freeze in case of a power outage. I planned to use it to help keep food cold, fresh, and safe if the electricity went out. For that purpose, it is a practical and affordable item to keep on hand. The gallon size is convenient, and it gives me a little extra peace of mind during bad weather or emergency situations.
Walmart Drinking Water in one-gallon jug As inexpensive as any bottled water, %26 it's delicious. I live in Nashville, which has great tap water, %26 this bottled water from Walmart tastes just like it to me. I order it online, %26 it's always it stock. I don't have to shop for it, reach for it off the shelf, or lug it out to my car. Walmart people bring it out %26 load it into my car. Walmart people are terrific. They are so nice, so hard-working, %26 they always get it right. Thank You Walmart.
Good Budget Purified Water for My Countertop Ice Machine I use this Great Value purified drinking water in my countertop ice machine and it works great. There's really nothing special about it — it's just basic purified water. I gave it 5 stars for everything except taste. The taste is fine (nothing wrong with it at all), but if you're used to nicer drinking waters that taste really good, this one is pretty average. I always drink purified water — it's been close to 30 years since I've had anything from the faucet or a hose. I like good quality drinking water for everyday sipping, but I don't need to use my more expensive stuff just for ice. This gallon jug is cheap and perfect for the ice machine. When the ice melts into my drink, it mixes with my favorite good water anyway, so the overall taste stays excellent. Plus it's way better than tap water, which can leave behind minerals that build up and calcify in the machine over time. One more thing — if you have a small indoor dog, this water is also a nice option for them. It's a simple way to give them the same clean purified water you drink, and for a little dog the extra cost over their whole life is basically nothing compared to the benefits.
a great value water is my go-to, only problem is I get delivery at home and five out of five times as they never have it in the store. if neighbors go to Walmart they asked me what I want I tell them I want my great value gallon of water. I always get the 40 pack of Great value water but these are awesome to store.
The taste is fine. I'd like to go back to glass contianers, to improve taste because there is plastic-y flavor if the water sets in the sun or window, or just doesn't get used fast enough.. And it just better to use glass as it really did get re-used. I have well water and this water keeps my house plants heakthy whereas the well water can be harmful. Too alkaline.
Tastes just fine to me. I appreciate being able to buy the gallon size containers as I cannot physically lift the multi-packs of individual bottles or carry them up to a second floor apartment. The only downside is that no one I asked at Walmart knew if or where I could refill the gallon in the store. Many retailers have refill stations and discount the water a little to help so much plastic going into the landfills.
This is just as good as the more expensive brands. I always keep an unopened jug of it for those rare times they've shut off the water in my apartment building and I want to make a pot of coffee. When it gets close to the expiration date, I use it up and buy another jug.
This is my least favorite, store brand of drinking water to buy. It's almost exactly what come out of my tap, which is hard water that smells and kind of tastes like fish heads. It doesn't really seem to help our urinary tract health either, if we have more than a gallon or two in a roll.
My order was delivered to the wrong apartment. They took it to apartment 302. This complex is 302 Hill Rd. but there's 30 some apartments inside the 302 complex so you have to deliver it to the apartment number which mine was 104 and and they delivered it to the apartment, 302 which was wrong
I didnt order it for one. It was ?? a substitute . I have no desire nor had time to respond to the text msg regarding the substitute of choice since I do not drink Great Value Water. The decision was made by Walmart Thanks for the prompt delivery.
