The price is definitely right. They also don't contain any animal products. I adit I open them up and scrape out all but a torch of the filling - but everyone else loves them as is! I'm a bit odd anyway, not a fan of very sweet things.
they are very good as a snack. Because my boyfriend has diabetes, we limit ourselves to five (5) cookies each at night and it does not seem to run sugar levels too high in the mornings
Need a fast snack? I was looking for something for my grandson and came across these for our tea party he was invited to. They were affordable as well as very flavorful. We also had to make two different kinds of pie crust and these cookies were the best for our bake off. The cream inside was just extra as we did our favorite project for Valentine's Day. Those motor skills are coming in handy. These cookies are delicious and helpful for making memories!!
I keep our cookie jar filled with these cookies all the time. In the past I would search for different kinds of cookies. They were all fairly good. But my family empties the cookie jar with these cookies regularly with no complaints. And the price is nice. They have vanilla and chocolate, so I guess they satisfy whatever you have a taste for at the time. I refill the cookie jar every week, so they must be good! I like them too! We even give our dog the vanilla side of one each night before bed. He endorses them too!
These were like a dollar a pack and I would buy several packs just to have a little bit something sweet around. But the price doubled in no time and I backed off for a long time. Today, I decided to get one package in my grocery order. They are still delicious though.
Very fresh, not hardened and not soft. There were more cookies in the package than I expected. There were no broken cookies and no fragments in the package. The cream filling was 20% too thick for me, but it was solid and not crumbly and not. Although , it was one of the cheapest cookie packages - it was very good value do to the number of cookie in the package and freshness and quality of the cookies. I will buy again.
Portion control while eating them periodically as well as not consuming them as a meal. I don't like the cream filling it's to sweet so I scrape it off All The Time. I wish they would package and sell them without the cream. I eat a few with some coffee or crumble them over sherbet or yogurt.
I expected - flavor. These had none. No chocolate or vanilla flavor, just sugar. I will need to look to something else as I assume the chocolate version uses two dark wafers and the vanilla version uses two pale wafers. Nothing has any flavor. I may give lemon a try...
I tasted the chocolate side but not the vanilla. I couldn't taste the creme at all. They were crunchy but small; very small. I understand that products change over time but this is a bit extreme. I will just keep getting the iced oatmeal cookies from now on.
The chocolate half of the cookies is rather bland. Given how borderline tasteless the cookie is, an additional amount of center filling would be helpful. The vanilla half is essentially edible if matched with another vanilla half and each vanilla half has most of the filling after removing the bland brown-colored half. These cookies are barely edible if not "doctored" severely.
