So, now that we are back to earth on egg prices I would like to thank the chickens. I remember .79 cent a dozen eggs. I didn't know what an extra large egg was, but it says they should weigh about 2.1 oz. I weighed 3 of these and they were 2.1 to 2.3 oz. So it's all good
I've ordered many eggs and I've been a little skeptical about doing so and the reason is because I finally got an order with broken eggs in it so I guess it was bound to happen. I don't know. I let him know when I reviewed the order but they didn't say anything about it.
I am not an egg lover however I try to eat one a day. I've never had a problem with these eggs they last at least as long as the use by date. The shell is a little hard to crack, but I think that's because I'm afraid I'm going to splatter it all over. The site of egg yolks cooking on a fried egg is nauseating, but that's just me. I'm sorry the eggs are fine. They taste good as good as eggs can taste. You won't be disappointed. I don't believe.
The Great Value Extra Large Eggs have become a permanent staple in my home. I started purchasing these eggs several months ago and have been very pleased with the taste and quality of the product. Thus far the eggs seem to be very fresh and are good to use in recipes. These are good eggs and are also affordable. I highly recommend them.
I made deviled eggs and it just came in handy from Mother's Day. It just was perfect and everybody loved the containers and now we're gonna collect our own eggs with eggs. I've already cooked so I thank you very much and thanks for driver for bringing them to me. Thank you.
I prefer the clear package to view condition of the eggs without having to open the package. Eggs are good eggs, why not show them off. I had two eggs on the ends stuck to the styrofoam carton, cracked. A clear container helps to see where handling errors occur.
I don't bake much anymore, and my meals have been trimmed back so I can stay trim. However, I do yearn for the meals and snacks we had as kids that bring back so many mouthwatering memories. One small memory I just reaquainted my self with is a basic fried egg on toast. No frills, just some canola oil in a frying pan and a decent spatula. You can easily do 'overkill' on this very basic item. Just keep it simple and enjoy the taste of a fried egg on toast, and if you want, a thin slice of cheese. Now, when I say basic fried egg, I mean exactly that: crack the egg, drop it in the hot pan, and break the yolk. Spread it around a little according to how you like it. Remember, this is a 'fried egg', not over easy or sunny side up. It's also not an omelette. Just keep it simple, and you will really savor the simplicity and taste. Peter.
The last two (2) times I ordered eggs there was one and just (1) missing?? Not the drivers fault he was just GREAT but who at the store only puts in 11 eggs (eleven) or do customers liberate them on the shelf?? Not that big of a deal but rather worrisome..if they are doing this what else are they liberating????
I bought eggs for the last 14 years from Walmart and they've usually been pretty good yet the eggs seem to be shrinking. maybe Walmart could check the vendors to see if they're getting what they're buying since air in a box and smaller eggs in a carton equals shrinkflation
Well either they have to train their people to open the trays before putting them in the bag or be careful handling them!!! I had to throw away 6 eggs because they were cracked and leaking all through the carton!! This is the last time I get eggs from Walmart!! Very disappointed!!!!
