Great Value Extra Sharp Cheddar Block Cheese, 32 oz Chunk

I read everything I could from bird biologists and found out that birds love hard CHEESE, and that it is ok for them to eat if it is a small portion of all the food you put out for them each day. I cut this cheese in small dice...Here's who relishes this exotic addition to seeds, eggs, fruit, nuts and pepperoni that I feed the birds: Crows, Carolina and House Wrens, Blue Birds, Cardinals, Cat birds. There are probably many more that are eating the cheese t night-raccoons, possums, armadillos., etc. It is a very nice cheese, and I share a lot of it with the birds! Thank you, Walmart!!!!

I prefer the Sharpe %26 Extra Sharpe type of Cheddar Cheese, and, the Walmart version is great tasting with the flavor and consistency of higher priced Cheddar cheeses. From blending in recipes, sandwich and hamburger melting, to grilled cheeses, the Sharpe and extra sharpe versions add a touch of flavor that standard American cheese can't beat. And, I enjoy the savings that comes with buying the Great Value brand.

I'm surprised at how good the Great Value Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese tastes and I've been a cheese lover my whole life and know my good cheeses. This Extra Sharp Cheddar is as good tasting as Tillamook's that I've been buying for years that's almost double the cost! I'll be buying Great Value brand for now on.I eat it on my morning toast and in my scrambled eggs or omelets, tacos/burritos, chili, etc. or anything I want to bring a rich cheese flavor too.

Three of the eight corners of the package for damaged the LRR was put inside the box so that says it was open by at least one person Box looks like it's bulging and I think it was from the power cord, but I'm not certain I just wanna be sure I got a good quality product that I'm going to use to make yogurt homemade the L root I'm a little disappointed in the size of the bag 3 1/2 ounces for $31.99 I can feel the scooper in the pouch, but it does not look like that could be 100 servants in it to me We will see , thanks for your help. I wish I could give you a better rating, but I hate damaged packaging.

Great flavor and texture. Melts well and is one of my food staples. This isn't a cave aged 3 year old cheddar that would cost 20.00/lb or more but it is a very good everyday cheddar. For the price it is a great value (pun intended) and very very good cheese.

This is my favorite cheese. I use this black cheese. I graded it myself. I don't have to pay extra for grading. It is wonderful. It lasts forever. It goes in everything that I do. I put it in eggs so I put it in casseroles. I put it in on toast for my grandchildren and that's her favorite kind of cheese to use on the toast so I recommend this for anyone and for everything.

My favorite cheddar cheese is Cabot's white extra sharp cheddar cheese. If Cabot was the same price as GV, I'd buy it instantly. But I choose GV over Borden and Kraft. Not only is the price so much better, but so is the taste. GV does well in mac %26 cheese, shredded into salads and tacos, good on cheese toast and quesadillas as well as slices paired with crackers or fruit for a fast, no cook, low mess meal solution on a busy day. On a morning rush with no time for breakfast I cut a slice of cheese, take a slice of bread to fold around it, grab a paper towel %26 I'm out the door with a very portable meal to eat on the run. I love seeing the price rollback banners when I'm shopping online. Keep them coming.

Great Value Extra Sharp Cheddar has a good cheddar flavor. It bakes up great in sausage balls without the cheese running out like with other brands. Walmart's price is the lowest above other store brands. I shred my own cheese and this 32 oz block fills a 1 gallon zip lock bag. It freezes really well for using later too.

The texture is too soft and sticky for extra sharp cheddar. The taste is okay for cooking, but not so much for snacking. I buy it right now because I'm trying to save money, but I would much prefer a higher quality cheddar. The price is honestly the only redeeming factor.
