I was surprised the bulb was made out of plastic but now I realize it's great feature if you want to remove the light while it's still warm it won't burn your hands! Also a great effects light if you are a musician you can hang up in your practice area, like being on stage.( maybe try to hang some green bulbs up to with it). Also very efficient light bulbs for the amount of light it gives out so very high tech

This amber light is for my back porch. It throws off an orange glow which I like to use during the summer and autumn. During the summer it will keep bugs away from your door and during the autumn it gives a seasonal glow. It isn't the brightest of lighting. If you want more light a larger wattage is what I'd recommend for you in that case.

I see these bulbs last 10,000 hours. That's 9 years!! Thats great for me, being a senior, it's hard for me to change the bulbs in my ceiling fans. I have this bulb in the center spot. It looks great at night, but could not get a good picture with my phone. Thanks Walmart for the chance to have these in my home. I'll get back in 9 years to let you know how your product worked.

I think these bulbs are perfect for indoors if you want to create a nice ambient glow to your space. I personally don't think they're good reading unless you require a low light to do so. But if you just need a glow in a room, that's not too bright, these were really nice. They are very warm and don't inhibit TV watching. I thought they might be outdoor lights, like bug lights, and I think you may be able to use them for that purpose. It's not made of glass, but the outside of it feels like hard plastic, so it may hold up well for outside use. I may actually use one of them for that purpose.

I've used this Great Value LED bulbs for a while and like them. This is a 25 watt equivalent and amber colored . They look good on my porch light fixtures. I put one in the light above my kitchen table to compare the light out put , not as bright as I would like for table . It would look good with a two bulb table lamp or as an porch light.

I treasure the warm "glow" of the yellow-gold light that emitted usually from candle flames. These amber bulbs deliver that warmth when properly shaded with the longevity and economy of today's modern LED technology. Inside the home, I find that left unshaded, as if used bare in a candelabra-type setting, the LED element is a still a bit too bright esthetically, and they cannot be dimmed. But, they would indeed make an excellent outdoor porch light and still be somewhat bug-resistant. See the photos and I think you will agree. I really love the way the shaded lamp's golden glow now accentuates the brass and gold tone accents that surround it.

I needed a soft glowing light for a fixture I have on my back porch because I have a TV on the back porch and I did not want a glaring light to reflect off of it. This is the perfect light. It glows warm and bright but not harsh and glaring. It's also a energy saving LED so that's a plus. It would be great for romantic dining or a night light. It's a nice relaxing light on my screened porch in the evening when sitting and and enjoying a cup of tea. If you want a cost saving amber light this one will fit the bill!

This bulb is nice and offers good lighting. Fits well in my chandelier. I like this bulb for the bedroom maybe not for applying make up or doing anything that requires bright lights. It is nice and the bulb does not hurt my eyes when they are feeling sensitive.

The softwhite amber lightbulbs create a nice ambiance. They are nice to use in lamps that are placed in a bedroom or other area where bright lighting is not needed. They create a soft glow which is nice when watching television. I can't comment on how long of a life they have as I've only had them a short time. If you are looking for a softer light that isn't real bright this may be a good option for you.

Well let me start out by saying that I love the color although it's is brighter than I expected it to be. It causes my night light to NOT come on. I'm going back to my old bulb and will save them for perhaps the front porch or maybe on IN THE MOOD nights when a lot less light. There's not much to say about a light bulb other than what I have said
