Again, as my previous review, I only purchased great value shredded cheese. There is no need to spend more money on any other cheese when it tastes just as good. The blended cheese is my go to for macaroni and cheese and tacos. This is a mixture of different great value cheeses melted on top of the stove with Velveeta cheese.
The price is what started my using this item as convenient to have when preparing any Mexican food dish, tacos%26 burritos for example. I've sprinkled on green salads as well. The taste is fine, just like any other brand. I've even used it on pizza or tomato sauce food items.
i gave this item five stars due to thr texture and taste of thr product. This shredded cheese is also a time saver so i dont have to shred my own cheese. Just as long as you consume the cheese within 3-5 days as noted on the package; it will still taste fresh.
I buy this shredded cheese blend all the time. It has a delicious flavor and taste and the price isn't too bad either. I use it for casserole dishes, salads and taco or burrito toppings.
Well these little shreds are delightful! Then sprinkle on top of so many things to add that special touch. But maybe not on pancakes. Or French toast. Both of which I like. A lot. But when I added these shreds, somethin just wasn't right. But on tacos or chile or Willa's potato casserole? Yes please! But maybe not on cookies or cakes. That might seem obvious to some but you never know. And perhaps not on Chinese food. Or Thai. But on some soups and salads, definitely! But not fish. And definitely not stirred into things like coffee. But in quesadillas, yes! On top of brownies? No. And not on cereal, even if it's hot. Yes on apple pie, but not cherry. No on peanut butter sandwiches. Yes on burritos but no on French toast. Oh wait, I said that already — okay, I'm done.
I was a Publix girl but this cheese is the best it has seasoning works great for taco night or if you're making burritos or just to make every food tasty! Definitely a bang for your buck the cheese melts smoothly and taste like restaurant style cheese!
I do like the taste of the cheese and it's grated fine enough for what I need it for the only thing I really don't like about this products is the zip pouch you either can't get it open and if you do then you have a hard time for the bag to close and stay closed. if that problem could be fixed then this product would be just about a rating of 5 all the way around. the only other thing I would love to see in stores is more of a variety of cheeses
Perfect product for my low sodium tacos! Interestingly, we always have low sodium taco seasoning in our kitchen...went to cook the ground turkey and we had none. Looked up a recipe and found one. Made the seasoning myself with no salt Ms Dash spices. :) Tasted great!
It was really nice cheese. It had a nice flavor. It was really easy to slice'. I like it on grilled cheese sandwich. That cheese melts and it is so good.. I cut into squares and eat them like a tasty snack With a sliced up apple. Actually make it so good
this is an 8oz bag mislabeled for 2 cups of cheese. i honestly did not pay attention to the ounces because I just saw 2 cups and that is what i wanted and needed for my recipe. when It got delivered, i noticed it was really a 6oz bag labeled wrong. it is on the websote this way and in the stores.
