I use the Fiesta blend when i make mac and cheese ,pasta dishes in fact any dish that calls for cheese. The flavor is perfect for any food that calls for cheese it is not extremely salty which I am not allowed but the cheesy taste needed for many dishes I make.
I was getting this cheese blend at my local supermarket, but then noticed it's cheaper at Walmart and decided to give it a try. It's just as good! Really good quality cheese, and this flavor blend works in literally any dish or as a topper for anything.
This Fiesta cheese blend is an absolute staple in our house! We use it for everything from Taco Tuesdays and quick weeknight quesadillas for the kids, to topping off homemade enchiladas. It melts beautifully, has a great flavor, and the large 32 oz bag is the perfect size to keep up with our family. It's a fantastic value and always fresh.
The Cheese was packaged well and the stay fresh plastic bag was easily cut open across the top with the zip lock directly under the opening. The zip lock worked well when finished using the product and the whole stored easily in my refrigerator crisper drawer. The cheese itself was moist and fresh and remained so throughout the use of the product. Taste was excellent, and the cheese texture, color, and meltability remained excellent throughout the use of the product.
This cheese has always been good. I put it on tortilla chips, pop them in the microwave for about 30 to 45 seconds and its melted just enough to stick to the chips and tastes amazing. It is less messy than melting cheese in a bowl to dip the chips in.
I bought this giant bag of shredded cheese thinking it would last for several meals. That was a rookie mistake. This cheese has found its way onto tacos, burritos, baked potatoes, eggs, casseroles, nachos, and at least a few "I'm just grabbing a pinch" incidents directly from the refrigerator. By the end of the week, half the bag had mysteriously vanished. The blend melts well, tastes great, and adds instant credibility to almost any meal. If a dish isn't quite right, the answer is usually more cheese. Five stars. The only downside is realizing that a 32-ounce bag is somehow considered a temporary supply in my household.
Probably one of the better packaged shredded cheeses. Many are covered in starch to kepl it from sticking together. This is lightly dusted, not visibly noticeable at all. It taste very good and melts well. It mixes good in ingredients amd doesnt clump up. I have found this size bag of cheese at another sore brand for over $1 cheaper but that brand is covered in white powder.
I used to buy 5 smaller bags then I realized that it would be cheaper to buy the bigger bag so now I buy 3 big bags, because I am only able to shop once a month because of being on Disability so the extra bags go into the freezer, but I like the finally shredded because it melts faster than the other ones do.
The quality for Great Value Fiesta chess shredded is really good , the taste is outstanding with the blends of cheese used, and reasonably priced. I like this blend of cheese for tacos and Mexican casseroles. I like the way it melts and is never lumpy or dry. My family likes the cheese as well as they often use it in their scrambled eggs. So all is good and it is enjoyed with many dishes
This might be a personal preference things. I think Walmart cheese tastes better than WinCo and Aldi. I've lived by both stores. Great Value wins. It also slices better without crumbling. To be clear, it's not a big enough difference that I'll avoid WinCo cheese if I'm already there. But when we lived by an Aldi within the last five years, once I tasted the difference between Aldi and Great Value cheese, I eventually had to stop buying the Aldi cheese. Who knows, maybe they've changed their processes. But my husband and I both prefer Great Value cheese over WinCo. WinCo cheese is still good. We prefer Great Value.
