Wow! Did I buy Great Value or Phillsbury? Super comparable to the brand name stuff. I'm seriously shocked. I used to make mummy dogs and I used the leftovers for croissants. Both came out perfect! I may never buy Pillsbury again! Don't change this recipe WM!
Have you ever had these? If not, why not??? We love them. There are so many dishes you can make from these. Our favorite is a Taco Ring. It looks like a wreath, but filled with delicious Mexican goodness. These Great Value Flaky and Buttery Crescent Rolls are the center of this dish. These Crescent Rolls are so versatile. You can make cinnamon rolls, apple turnovers, taco bake and taco ring and so so much more. Roll up a hot dog and bake, great football game snacks. The possibilities are endless. And everything you make with them tastes terrific. These are a super value for the price and all the goodies you can make with them. Whether you are making breakfast, lunch or dinner, a party, game snacks, dessert and even get aways, these are a real tasty bargain. We buy them often and everything we make, people love it. 5 stars from us.
These crescent rolls bake up flaky and buttery with a nice texture. Easy to prepare and good for quick meals, breakfast, or side dishes. They browned evenly in the oven and tasted fresh. Good value for the price and handy to keep in the refrigerator for everyday use.
DO NOT EXPECT THESE CRESCENT ROLLS TO TASTE LIKE THE NAME BRAND ! They Don't. Although, the GV is GOOD for when you use them in recipes like Crescent Roll Apple Dumplings as an example. This product is budget friendly.
These crescent rolls are delicious. I use them to make pigs in a blanket and my kids love them. I regularly purchase this item and appreciate the value. There is no TBHQ in this item. Walmart uses amazing ingredients for a processed food item like this. You can’t beat the ingredient list and there is only 2 grams of sugar per serving.
Hopefully it was just this can, but I opened it and noticed some silver specks that probably came from the lining since the inner rolls didn't have them. Hard to see in the photos, but it is not seasoning that you see. It even shines in the light. Make sure to check before baking!
We used these to make sopapilla cheesecake and they did not separate well. Also, several of the cans popped open on their own in the refrigerator. Where the name brand ones I bought on the same day did not do this. I was disappointed with is product and will not purchase it again.
At first I thought this was great - similar enough to Pilsbury and cheaper. But today I was rolling up one and there was a DEAD BUG crushed into the dough. I thought it was a piece of cardboard at first from the container, and started pinching it out… yuck! How does this happen?!? For this reason alone I’m going back to Pilsbury. Never had dead bugs in all my years of using theirs.
popped open after delivery and placed in fridge and Walmart apparently thinks ppl are gonna keep bad food and not just throw them away. Instead of making their drivers stop slamming orders on delivery just do nothing. it's consistent missing items delayed deliveries and now they want ruined food returned why. don't believe me? it's ok my kids but will just start shopping else where. it's not even worth the hassle of wondering if ur getting good product or trash
right out of the gate the canister is tough to open. once you get the paper ripped off the canister, you struggle with opening the cardbboard that houuses the dough. then the dough: a canister shaped blob of gooey ooze with no defining start or stoppping point, just a glob.
