So delicious and the bag is full to the toot top!! I was expecting it to be like a bag of chips and only half full but was pleasantly surprised. I live with one other person and we don’t go through fruit that often. This has been a great way to eat fruit and not let it go bad. When I buy a bag of apples, half of them go bad before we eat them all. This has been a great way to not waste food! Please make more freeze dried fruit like peaches, mangos and kiwis!!
Good as a snack between meals. Great treat for kids at lunch time. Carry in a large pocket or purse. Good for killing the appetite with healthy fruit instead of sugary junk foods!
This is an incentivized review. I really like how light and fluffy these are — they have that airy crunch that makes them easy to snack on without feeling heavy. My bag was also nice and full, which I appreciate since that’s not always the case with snacks like this. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is the price. For the amount, I do think it’s a little on the higher side. I also wish the apple flavor came through just a bit stronger — it’s there, just a little mild. That said, they’re still a convenient, clean and crispy snack option (just apples), and I’ve actually already repurchased them, which says a lot. Great for something quick, simple, and better-for-you.
The taste is great. The amount is pitiful for the price. In the one ounce pouch, you get about half of an apples worth of slices/pieces. Half of a freeze dried apple shouldn't cost over $4.
This product as described are not crispy nor crunchy, they are puffy and taste like apples, but not what I expected.
I buy these every time I go to the store and they’re usually awesome but the last few months they’re fluffy and taste bad! When they’re good and cooked all the way, they’re really good. I’ve bought these for years but about to stop buying all together because 9/10 they taste bad and I’m tired of paying $4 for a small bag when they taste horrible.
I have purchased these on several occasions and have always enjoyed them. The last couple of times I have purchased them they have been horrible. They look like they were made out of bad apples. They have been dark in color and have had part of the core and seeds in the package. They are very hard and hard to eat. My grandson, who is 2, usually loves these and now looks at them and says “Yucky” and throws them on the floor. I don’t know what has happened to the quality, but it’s not there anymore!!
I used to loveee these and order several per week, but received two empty packages in a row, and then since have received a couple of packages with barely any in them. Definitely a quality issue in packaging that they're not catching these issues. I no longer order them.
I’ve been eating these for YEARS and they have been amazing, but the past 2 times I ordered them, they were dry and stale…. Disgusting! They all had black spots on them like they were a bag of scraps. I ordered 2 both times I ordered them and both bags were like that
Bought these in the past and they werent the best but they weren’t bad! Im a mail carrier and look for snacks easy to eat without heating or refrigeration.. so i love these ( prefer Aldis brand) - bought 5 bags of these since ive had them before and HOLY NASTY!! They tasted like pure chemicals!! The ingredients say ONLY FUJI APPLES.. BUT BABY.. MY MOUTH FELT NUMB ALMOST WITH A NASTY TASTE!! Do not buy these as I wasted $3.72 x 5 bags - almost $20 right in the trash) I opened every bag just to see if maybe it was just 1 bad bag.. NOPE!! It was all of them.. SO MAD CUZ THESE AINT CHEAP FOR A 1oz bag! DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL AND WALMART CAN REFUND ME MY DARN MONEY 🤬
