Great Value Freeze Dried Strawberry Fruit Crisps, 2 oz

These are my daily snack. A lot of times I can eat the whole bag. I really wish we could get them in bigger bags since these days more people are snacking on items like this. And they are great for kids. My granddaughter loves them.

With kids that are obsessed with freeze dried fruit, strawberry being the most favored above all, I have searched far and wide for the most flavorful, best textured, cost effective freeze dried strawberries I can find. While these are not THE cheapest I've come across, they are the most flavorful and have the best texture of all the ones I've found, and as they come in this lovely value size it's not really much less of a value than the other brand— but the few Pennie's extra are ABSOLUTELY worth it for the product you get. There's a decent amount in the bag and they stay fresh for a very long time, despite my children forgetting to close the bag more often than not. Shelf staple around this house. Buy them! You won't be sorry. For those wondering: They're not too thick, not too thin, they're sweet and crunchy but they almost melt into a normal perfectly sweet strawberry mid chew. You can eat them plain, with yogurt, add them to a salad, toss them in a trail mix with some yogurt chips or choco chips and nuts or whole grain cereal, etc.

Perfect for making strawberry 'dust' on top of my glazed strawberry scones. I used to be able to buy an assortment of freeze dried fruit at another local store, but I can only shop online/delivery now and the other store does not list these on their ordering website. But, Walmart didn't let me down and they pulverized perfectly! Can't wait to make ice cream (homemade) by hand and sprinkle this on top like the bars we used to get as kids from the Good Humor truck!

These are the absolute best Freeze Dried Strawberries I've ever had. And I've tried a ton of them. No added sugars make it perfect for an all day snack, everyday! No joke when I say I eat these daily!

These are great. You get an instant kick of strawberry flavor, and it's always been consistent. Is it as good as the best fresh, in-season fruit? No, but it's pretty darn good and certainly better than any out-of-season slop. As with any freeze dried fruit though, it's an expensive habit to have: you're paying north of $50/lb for these. That's just the nature of freeze dried fruit though.

These dried strawberries are crunchy and a great snack. I don't eat a lot of fruit so these come in handy when I want fruit. I've already bought them a second time and will continue to purchase.

Um, c'mon!! Yummy. I ran these through the food processor and made homemade strawberry ice cream. It was phenomenal! Good on desserts but try on salad!!! Yum

I add this to my Special K strawberry cereal. I love the taste and the way they soften in milk. They almost taste like fresh strawberries in my cereal!

My child struggles with textures in his diet. These freeze dried strawberries are key to his daily routine. He could eat half a bag of these in a day, easily! I personally don't enjoy the flavor of them but he's never complained (and he's INSANELY picky) Mama, get these for your picky little eater!

I love these freeze-dried strawberries. Every morning, I have greek yogurt with granola, and top it with a small handful of these strawberries. They are so flavorful. I love strawberries, but there's always a few that have either gone bad or aren't ripe enough. Having them this way never disappoints. They're consistently tasty! Even my bunny loves them and will only eat the freeze-dried. The price seems less than other brands I've seen. Still a little pricey, so I only use as a topper to make the bag last longer. My bunny gets one as a treat in the morning and at night.
