Great Value Frozen Breaded Okra, 12 oz Plastic Bag

Is the first time I've ever tried this. I've never had it before not fried. I had regular okra my grandmother cook it. It was slimy. and that was back in the 50s. I didn't like it. The heavens know to her grandma said don't knock it until you try it back then I said I knocked it and I seen the fried okra. I'm gonna try it. I put in my deep fryer. It taste good delicious it has some ranch dressing dip it in. It was awesome but I buy some more. I'll buy some more in stock them up thank you.

The breaded okra is real good. Put it in them pot with some canola oil and get it good and hot then drop them down in there. Let them stay there about 57 minutes and they are so good really good. Just watch them so they don't burn, but they're very good.

These were very delicious. I cooked them in the air fryer. They were very good for being frozen. Of course they're not as good as the ones my mother used to make from scratch, but nobody can beat mama‘s cooking.

For a southern girl in Washington state, it was a taste of home! A little peppery in some bites, but overall it's good and at a decent price. I air fried it the first time. Will try pan frying it in oil next time. I think it will be better cooked in that method.

I put this okra in the air fryer and if you monitor cooking time it will come out crispy. The cooking instructions on the bag called for cooking too long so you will have to see what time works best for your machine. This would probably be excellent deep fried but that's what I'm trying to avoid.

I love fried okra so I'm always on the look out for it. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because the breading is really blah, plain. It doesn't taste bad, it just doesn't have any seasoning in it so you have to doctor them a little bit before cooking.

"Breaded" is a stretch........they barely had any on there!! Although, I love okra so much, I didn't mind the lack of breading. It's a decent amount for a decent price...with a decent flavor. If you're looking for a cheaper side, these will do the trick in a pinch.

Very light on the breading tastes OK hard to get cooked to the correct time/temperature as it's not correct on the bag and if you follow the bags directions, the okra is still raw when it says it should be done or close to raw I should say

I wanted to really enjoy this as it is low in calories and would have fulfilled a "deep fry" craving. Sadly they did not. There was a lack of flavor, I added some salt and cajun seasoning to spruce them up. It helped with the taste but not the texture. I had them in the air fryer for a very long time. They simply would not get crunchy and remained mushy. The breading is likely to blame. Won't purchase again.

Too much pepper! Had tried this brand some time ago and it was ok. I was so excited to find it again, purchased 2 bags to make a double batch. After cooking, per instructions, adding nothing, It was terrible, pure black pepper taste! So overwhelming couldnt eat it. I had to throw all if it away..
