Great Value Frozen Catfish Skinless Fillets, 4 lb Bag

I love catfish and this catfish is very good. It's cheaper now days to cook at home than to eat at restaurants. Prices have gotten out of control for the average person to eat out. You can make this catfish however you like, fried, baked, steamed, and I use it in Catfish stew. I am happy Walmart sells quality products !!

We are soo thankful for what God is doing in McComb Mississippi We live in the town of McComb about 5 minutes from Walmart and we appreciate that we are driving to pickup or delivery. The fish are nice I got 7 pieces in the bag. I however don't like big and thick pieces of catfish. They are harder to turn in the pan and take longer to cook. Guess I should do my own shopping instead of a pickup order where someone else selects my fish

Not too bad for frozen fish. Taste and texture is mild and flaky. I eat fish every Friday (like a 'good' Catholic altar boy), although catfish is considered to be ritually unclean according to the Laws of Moses because catfish doesn't have scales. However, I'm a good Southern guy from Dixie and we love our catfish.

no matter how I make this product it turns out rubberyish and not as flaky I like. My most issue I would like to complain about is that you either make all of them or have to put them in something else because the package doesn't reclose and each piece isn't single wrapped so the fish gets frost bit.

Since I tried for months to get Frozen Catfish and couldn't, I ordered a 4 lb and 2 lb bag, and surprisingly enough received it. I joyfully started with the 2 lb package and was really disappointed when I pulled the fillets out at how small thet were... they were more the size of Catfish Nuggets. What the heck !!! Instead of 2 and 4 pound bag, Walmart should offer a 4 and 8 pound bag and reduce the price a bit.

I only had two filets, the rest of the pieces were big chunks. This is the first time this has ever happened. One piece was spoiled, I ended up tossing the fish in the garbage. Wasted my money!!!!

The Catfish fillets is good bu not fresh, and you can tell from the after tasting freezer burned and that's how you can tell the difference so I recommend it's not worth it. That means that it been in Freezer Too Long and takes the FLAVOR out of it, But I used to get it a long time ago and you're spending that much money on some Freezer Burned food and that's How you really know if its FRESH or not, I thought that it might have improved it and it haven't and that's why I have been getting the 2lb bag of Catfish fillets instead of the 4lb bag of Catfish fillets that needs to be thrown away and are not fresh like it supposed to be. I recommend don't get this product not worth your money , The 2lb bag Catfish fillets are worth it but they're very small so just increase by getting 2 bags of this kind so every one can get a piece of fish fillets and the 2lb bag is only for one person but fresh so I'll continue on the 2lb bag of CATFISH FILLETS cause I have been getting it the most this year and will probably more bags at a time. This 4lb bag is not worth your money and can't show any pictures cause I got my money back from the stale FREEZER BURNED 4LB BAG OF CATFISH FILLETS, The Freshest one are the 2lb bag of Catfish fillets instead are the Freshest just get more than just one cause the one bag isn't for everyone in your family, unless you're the only person who are going to eat it.

I have never bought catfish fillet from Walmart nor anywhere and have gotten it FREEZER BURNED… Ugh, I will never buy anymore catfish fillet from Walmart, They're wrong for this 🤦🏾‍♀️ messed up my whole meal tonight

I ordered Catfish. Can I please get a refund for this item? I was unaware that Flounder fish was the substitute. How can I go about getting my money back so I can order the other Catfish? Not something that I may have an allergic reaction to!
