I used to always chop my own onions but these have changed my mind. Having a bag of frozen chopped onions in the freezer is just so convenient when you need them for a recipe. The price is really low and when you factor in the time saved and not having to deal with chopping onions every time, it's a complete no brainer. I just grab what I need and toss them right in. They work great in cooked dishes and I have zero regrets making the switch. Sometimes the easy and affordable option is just the right call.
The taste, quality, value for the money, and convenience were unimpeachable, high in convenience. I used them for a soup starter but I also love them in tuna salad. They're a key component of homemade omelets as well. They are part of the staples committee.
he is Great value Frozen onions I love grabbing a couple bags of them it's easier to grab out of the freezer and cook with then stand there and chopping onion but it's up to you even when I buy fresh onions I cut them up and I freeze them much easier this way and cheap
I do not always need an entire onion in recipes, so having the frozen chopped onions on hand is great. I use what I need, and put the rest in the freezer. It saves money, as I don't throw away anything. I like to keep a bag on hand so I can add to any recipe I make.
Ease, speed, convenience and NO TEARS! I cook a lot. A lot. Fresh onions have a flavor and moisture that adds so much to my dishes, but chopping onions is one of my least favorite kitchen tasks. My eyes seem to be excessively sensitive. This bag full of pre-peeled and chopped onions removes everything inconvenient and shortens meal prep by at least 12 minutes!
Where has this product been all my life? I hate chopping onions and how badly they sting my eyes. I discovered these frozen onions a couple years ago and I LOVE how these add so much time and convenience to my life. I use these frozen onions in all my dinner recipes and they all have a great end result. As a busy mom, I highly suggest giving these a try!
No tears with these!!! The convenience is so great!! The taste is awesome so why not save time. Also no waste. Keeping them frozen until use is so great. They don't go bad before I can use them. Great for a big dinner when you are overwhelmed. Helps save time. And you can use as much or as little as you like. No waste!!!
I don't know about you, but I hate cutting onions. The way they make your eyes water and you're only halfway through. Swimming goggles with the nose work but it is an inconvenience. I love buying the frozen chopped onions because it is cheap, convenient, and goggle free. If you are accident prone like me you will like not having to use a knife because they are diced for you, all you gotta do is cook them. My husband and I put some in a mason jar and put them in the fridge for our sandwiches and it works so well.
Nice sized pieces and cooks up perfectly. Nice sized pieces individually frozen. Great to have around if you're pressed for time or don't have quite enough fresh to add in a recipe,. Isn't really a substitute for every occassion.....ie on hot dogs or on salads, but for sauces or frying up hamburger, added to stew's or n soups it's great.
Just recently started buying chopped onions. Use to buy onions and chop them myself. All the tears, the time, the worry if I had I onions for a recipe. IT IS SO nice to just grab out and use what I need. The convenient is unbelievable. Don't know what took me so long.
