Jumbo Collossal Shrimp

PAX May 20, 2026

I always order the 13 to 15 count size shrimp because there are 5 shrimp in each serving that I choose to make 1 dinner sized meal for myself. I get 3 dinner's out of 1 package. The shrimp are easy to cook, easy to peel %26 go good with almost any vegetable or a bed of fluffy rice or a baked potato, asparagus or green beans. The shrimp can also be shredded %26 used in cold sandwiches. Cooking time is usually 5 to 7 minutes %26 pick them out of a medium boiling water w/a pair of tongs. The left over water can be made into a shrimp-soup %26 adding red onions finely cut with asparagus tips is the deal for a fast, light, nutritious dinner for folks of any age. I don't have any shellfish allergies, so the shrimp are a perfect meal for me. Once cooked, the shrimp will be ok to spend about 2 or 3 days in the refrigerator. I can even stretch out the meal with just 3 shrimp per serving %26 extra vegetables %26 seeded rye bread from the bakery. Shrimp can be dipped in hot butter or BBQ sauce or my own homemade cocktail sauce. They can be diced %26 added on pizza or in soup or salads. I usually order 2 or 3 bags 1 pound bags per month %26 the shrimp is usually consumed with a bottled beer or a Merlot wine...

The colossal shrimp are the perfect size and easy to peel. You can use them in so many different ways. Depending on the taste you’re going for, they take to any seasoning. Salary, pasta, rice, cabbage, the list goes on. Enjoy them in a variety of ways!! Excellent buy.

Great for shrimp boil

Ian May 9, 2026

Great for shrimp boil. Once they're thawed the 13-15 count size only take a couple minutes to cook and the bigger ones don't overcook as easily. Easy to peel and I think they taste sweeter with more lobster like texture than the Patagonian reds. Price went up recently, but what hasn't? Still worth it.

HUGE, FRESH, DELICIOUS TEMPURA SHRIMP!;

Yoana May 5, 2026

I am always happy with all of the shrimp from Walmart! Shrimp is always VERY fresh, and delicious. THIS super-jumbo shrimp is headed for VERY big Tempura shrimp dinner for a friend who is absolutely WILD about nice big Tempura shrimp, the bigger the better - dinner will be a VERY tasty surprise, lol!

Only shrimp worth buying! They're almost prawns and about 15 or 16 in the bag. Four will make a meal for one person whether you eat them cold with cocktail sauce, make a little shrimp salad or fry those babies up; three if you butterfly %26 stuff with crab. Just make sure you get the peels on. The peels off aren't that tasty. The only ones worth the money. i get 3 meals out of of them! Yumny!!!

Size Matters

Lora March 29, 2026

These actually stayed around the same size? I have ordered the large ones %2316-20 and they start out looking pretty good but quickly shrink? I’m thinking there were multiple sizes in some cases because I don’t always use the whole bag at one time? I didn’t notice at first but thinking about it I checked the sizes when I saw an obvious difference in the shrimp still in the bag? Since I had already used half the bag I didn’t figure I’d have any chance of returning them? It seemed more trouble than I was ready for that day? But these beauties were plump and held their size well up until I chopped them up and made shrimp cakes!!! Whooo with my special tartar sauce! These were possibly the best shrimp cakes I’ve made in a long time? I never mind peeling shrimp but I must admit that these gorgeous fatties were a breeze! I enjoyed the process completely start to deliciousness!

Theses are the shrimp I use to make a wonderful seafood salad as an appetizer. These shrimp with Walmart' s frozen scallops, Walmart's frozem Coho Salmon, all thawed on a bed of fresh greens served with a selection of cold sauces. If Walmart doesn't have it....you don't need it!

Very Colossal Shrimp!

June May 14, 2026

This super colossal shrimp was exactly that! Any more it seems like products aren't as large as they say they are, but these shrimp are definitely colossal and very enjoyable to eat! The price is excellent for this size shrimp!

Fantastic

anonymous May 16, 2026

I was pleasantly surprised. I bought this shrimp to grill on Mother's Day. They were succulent, firm and flavorful. They grilled amazingly well and were large enough to sit on the grill without worry. Highly recommend.

I would definitely recommend them. Especially if you live in landlocked area like I do, where is difficult to get excellent seafood without paying a fortune I would actually give them fives but there's nothing like fresh caught seafood and it doesn't compare to that at all, but it does do the job, without paying a fortune!
