Swai is a good, neutral fish when you need fish in your diet. Add some seasoning, and you're good to go. I prefer to fry it in butter, but baking works, too.
Swai fillets are a mild firm fish they remind me a lot of cod and grouper. I air fry or broil mine simple finishings like lemon butter and dill the fillets are perfectly sized and there are no bones about it. The value for 2 pounds of fish is amazing and affordable thank you
Loved the flavor of this. it was the first time ever trying Swai. I didn't add any salt after looking at the nutritional information and saw that it was just under 500 mg of sodium per serving. I'm glad I didn't because it would have been too salty had I done so. We didn't find a single bone anywhere. I would definitely buy this again.
This fish has become a regular weekly meal that we enjoy pan fried with butter and olive oil, breaded in Italian seasoned bread crumbs. It is a beautiful, white fish, just firm with a very mild taste. Serve it with tarter sauce, slaw or mixed veggies and a baked potato, quick, healthy meal.
This is a very good white fish. It's good you can cook it in the microwave. I like it deep fried. I dip it in buttermilk and let it sit for a couple of hours and then I mix cornmeal and flour together and deep fry it very good I'm always satisfied with it not too fishy at all.
Swai is my go to fish, tastes better than tilapia, cooked in olive oil sprinkled with Johnny salt, and lemon juice, 4 minutes on each sides comes out perfect
They are wicked good! l made a stuffing with stovetop stuffing %26 crabmeat, sauteed onions/ butter %26 stuffed the fish with and made home made Alfredo sauce,, delicious~!
Excellent 'Fish n Bread night' feature. prepared frozen from the bag I coat the fillets with oil first while frozen and liberally sprinkle on the lemon pepper (GV brand of course!) 360 degrees in the oven flip after 10 minutes , cook another 20 minutes and you'll be rolling the tacos . the Swai fillets are large and a 2LB bag feeds 4 to 5
No fishy smell or taste, clean %26 boneless individually wrapped fillets.I've taken them from the freezer, microwaved them to release from the wrap then into a coverd pan with olive oil, they shrink quite a bit but develope a golden crust.Garnish/finish any way you prefer, butter, lemon, mayo, dill, pickles, endless possibilities, try them see if you agree 4*
I accidentally ordered this a slip of the finger or something and never noticed. But I hate this kind of soggy terrible tasting fish as I've had it before and, it had a parasite of some type in it. This fish is not worth nearly nine dollars and it's not that good for you either no telling where it came from.
