Was instructed to add more fish to my diet with no breading, no deep frying. Have since bought a few packs of frozen tilapia. Love that they are individually frozen. I can’t eat strong tasting fish so I automatically soak my thawed filet in milk for about 30 minutes. Sprinkle with my favorite creole seasoning and use just enough oil to crisp the seasoned side. Only takes 3-4 minutes on each side to become very tasty.
I can't understand why so many people have to be so mean to Talopia, if you actually know how to cook, talopia is an absolutely excellent quality fish %26 offers a good variety of ways to cook, from slow smoking low temp cooking, to blackened high temp pan braising. Give it a try, in for a surprise on the good eats
Tilapia Tacos Tilapia (pan fried with onion powder-- low sodium issues) Shredded Cabbage Cheddar cheese, shredded Taco sauce Sour Cream All stacked in an 8–10-inch flour tortilla. May want to preheat the tortilla for a few seconds in the microwave.
Some people won't touch tilapia, but it is economical, rich in protein, and takes on the flavor you add readily! I love it! Each fillet is a generous portion for each person. (Meat portions should be the size of your palm of your hand, and these fillets cover your whole hand!) When teamed with veggies and a salad, you've got a delicious, easy-to-make meal! They are all vacuum frozen in single portions, so you can take out just what you want to eat. They make a meal quick and easy!
every time I buy a 2 lb bag of this tilapia I say I'm buying it for my husband and I and also for my 14Yr old cat Amadeus, for those times that he's tired of his usual cat food and want something else. but you know what? he usually ends up getting the whole bag before we get the first piece! but I know he's getting something healthy and wholesome when I get this to him and he loves it. I just put in a little bit of lemon pepper or seasoning, he's 14 years old it hasn't hurt him yet. I think I need to start buying two bags instead of one though! we have eaten it before and it's delicious and I love the way each piece is individually wrapped for freshness
We buy 2 bags a month. The price is amazing and the individual packaging is very convenient! They're fresh, the portions are perfect, and delicious! I put a portion in foil with a teaspoon of margarine. I either use garlic and herbs or lemon pepper seasoning. I wrap it up in a nice pouch put it in the oven at 375 for 14 minutes. It comes out perfect every time. It has never been dry, and it always tastes amazing. I highly recommend trying this!
It’s all about how you cook the tilapia and what you add to it to make it taste better, I eat this tilapia about 2-3 times a week I add my fish seasoning and a small amount of butter on the top of the tilapia so it can melt as it cooks and it comes out delicious and flavorful.
I just started having severe gallbladder issues. I’ve been eating every type of fish and trying every recipe thats healthy. I used a plant based butter for the first time and added some minced garlic and lemon juice. Baked on parchment covered cookie sheet at 400 for about 16 minutes. This is my favorite recipe so far!!! The taste reminded me of the inside of fried cat fish from my favorite restaurant back home.
It says fillet, so I thought it was safe to give to my granddaughter, but there’s little bones in there now what if she had choked to death don’t say there fillets if they have bones in them
Normally when I purchase this fish it's excellent but this bag was awful when I thawed it out it was brown and the smell was awful when I opened it up I don't know if it was the person packing the order or the driver riding around with it in his car
