I've never had a problem with this I like them. I'll be able to hold out for him I think they're pretty good. my cats are weird too they'll need a few pieces but they'll walk off it my couch is the weirdest cats in the galaxy they're also the smartest cats in the Galaxy but that goes without saying when it comes to my cooking.

It’s not kimchi.

Sana May 2, 2026

This does not taste like Kimchi at all. Tastes like sauerkraut. This can never make kimchi fried rice taste anywhere near authentic. To the brand, please consider renaming this product to something else. It was stupid of me to not read the reviews before placing the order.

Great whiting to fry

LevisMom May 31, 2026

This is a great fish to fry. Once it's all thawed out and patted to dry, throw some mustard and your favorite seasonings and it fries up crispy and delicious.

Great taste.

Dwayne January 30, 2026

First time I am buying with skin on, usually buy with skin off but have not been able to find that in awhile. I usually season and steam or add to Asian soups or broths, with fish sauce, veggies, pepper flakes, and any inspiration that I can come by online.

ANOTHER HEALTHY WHITE FISH!!!

Anonymous January 29, 2026

THAW IN FRIDGE OVERNIGHT, RINSE IN COLD WATER, PAT DRY WITH PAPER TOWELS, LAY OUT (SKIN SIDE DOWN) ON A COOKIE SHEET COVERED WITH FOIL AND PARCHMENT PAPER, BRUSH EACH FILLET WITH A LITTLE EVOO, SPRINKLE ON SOME OLD BAY SEASONING AND FRESH LEMON SLICES. BAKE AT 375 DEGREES FOR 15 MINUTES! YUMMO!!!

I did not like the fishy smell and taste. It was in great condition, cooked well, and was well worth the cost. I just prefer a fish that is more mild, like cod or roughy etc.

Great budget fish for easy dinners

Amal March 25, 2026

Pretty good for the price. Easy to cook, mild flavor, and perfect to keep in the freezer for quick meals. Takes seasoning well and comes out tasty. It does release a bit of water when thawed, but nothing major. For a budget-friendly option, it gets the job done. I’d buy it again.

Frozen Whiting N🚫T Recommended

CARMEL October 12, 2025

The taste, texture, and appearance after fully thawed and cooked was not acceptable. It's too soft and after frying it got lost in the dry fry mix (was barely visible when look for meat to thin fry meal ratio) and it had no substance. Definitely not a good product %26 N🚫T recommended as a substitute for any other frozen fish, especially catfish.

Bad fish

Theresa March 18, 2026

I recently purchased whiting fish, and it was completely unacceptable. The smell was extremely strong and unpleasant, far beyond a normal fish odor. The texture was very mushy—more like mashed potatoes than firm fish—which is a clear sign it was not fresh. This was a very disappointing experience, and I could not use the product at all. I expect better quality and freshness when purchasing seafood. I would not recommend buying fish from this source unless quality control improves.
