It doesn't look all that special but my kids seem to love it enough to go through a box every 2 or three days. When I asked them they said it's the fruit and yogurt bites. They also add cream. All I know is that first thing in the morning, the name speaks to my soul. Awake, yes, that is all for now, but I guess it is enough.
plenty of "good stuff" in with the flakes and it doesn't lose crunch too fast. It has GREAT distinguishable, independent, profound flavors that bend well together and is just the right nurishment to get me through till lunch. It's also a great late night munchie snack when i cant het to sleep!!!
Great cereal that offers a satisfying crunch with lightly sweet yogurt-coated clusters and bits of tangy dried fruit. The flavor is balanced and not overly sugary, making it a decent everyday option, though the fruit pieces can feel a bit limited. Overall, it's a solid, budget-friendly breakfast choice that works just as well for snacking as well.
Delectable! As good if not better than name brand! I love this crunchy yogurt cereal with the chewy dried fruit and crispy flakes. I like that it uses a variety of grains rather than just one. It's filling, too. Want even more flavor? It's easy! Add: --Dried berries (I recommend blueberries!) --Sliced Almonds or Pecans --Raisins, Dried Bananas, Dried Apricot, or Cherries --A bit of honey while the cereal is DRY and then lightly mix! --Peanut butter chips Also, try recipes you can easily look up online, like No Bake Peanut Butter Cereal Bars, Peanut Butter Bites, Nutty Cereal Candy, and Cereal Bark!
This Great Value Fruit %26 Yogurt Clusters Awake Cereal is really tasty and has a nice crunch and a flavorful bite. It makes for a nice breakfast or snack. The only thing I don't care for is how hard the yogurt is, It's pretty hard and sometimes tastes too sugary rather than tart as you would expect yogurt to be.
I love this cereal sometimes when I don't want to cook I use it for dinner. It's crunchy and tasty, better than the name brands. I also buy the strawberry awake it's also delicious.
My husband and I love this cereal. Can't tell the difference from Great Value brand and Kellogg's brand. Only complaint that I have is, needs more yogurt clusters.
Check ingredients. Made with real food. I can't afford candy, cookies, baked goods, etc. anymore. So, great value sweetened cereals. Costs about the price of a candy bar, lasts days. Adult treat. Sweet tooth, not diabetes, with wholesome stuff that's better for me than gorging on chocolate. This is sensibly sweet. Aromatic, hearty. Not the texture of particle board. Easy for us oldsters with minimal teeth to chew without injuries. Crunchy, but not dangerous. Warning! Do not leave in hot car! The globa of yogurt melt and I'm licking them off the bag! I'm nibbling right out of the box.
there should be more fruit and yogurt in this. The ratio is way off. you dont get some of all in every bite. mostly flakes. its better added to yogurt.
Don't waste your money. Compared to the brand name, it has the consistency and taste of cardboard. There is no fruit or yogurt flavor at all. I'll spend more to get the real thing, i.e. the name brand.
