I brought this several times thinking my husband likes it %26 it would be easy to make lunch sandwiches for him but we both agree it really had no taste or flavor %26 you have to use at least 4 our more in order to know you have meat on the sandwhich %26 i have to rinse it prior to lightly frying it because it had a slimmy feel to it he finally asked me to find another brand.
My kids absolutely LOVE this ham! It is a great value for the amount of meat that you get. I can make 3 kids ham sandwiches all week for school lunches and then maybe a couple extra! Love the ziploc closure too and that it doesn't come in another plastic container that I have to recycle!
Love on fried egg or club sandwich. I was worried it would be a really bad texture. You know how some of this mechanically separated meat isn't so seperated....I mean you take a bite and it doesn't cut away where your bite is! Well if you know you know. But anyway...this is not that. It's a good lunch meat product.
I only buy these big bags. I can use for sandwiches, I also can cut them easily in squares for homemade lunchables for kids lunches. I usually buy ahead and freeze them so I don't runout. I do take them Out of the bags sometimes and put in a plastic container with a few paper towels on top and the bottom. It helps absorb the extra liquids. Great taste and price when I need to use a lot of lunchmeat and in different ways.
Taste, texture and amount are all great. The only draw back is/was there's a vein or something running thru it so I have to cut it out as it's too nasty to eat so I have to cut it out. Hopefully it's a one time thing as this is the families choice for their lunch sandwiches.
I've been buying this for quite a while. The quality is great, the taste is excellent, and the price is better than the name brands. Its a great price for get togethers, and as an addition to a sandwich. as with everything the price has increased a little too high for my tastes but its still cheaper then most....
This honey ham is a solid pick for everything from quick lunches to light dinners. The slices are just the right thickness—not too thin to tear, but not so thick that they overpower a wrap or salad. I've used it in cold wraps with cheese and spinach, and it adds a sweet, savory balance that works well with fresh ingredients. For dinner, it pairs nicely with roasted veggies or folded into omelets. I've even chopped it into strips for salads, and the honey glaze gives a subtle boost without being too sugary. The 32-oz bag lasts a while and stays fresh if sealed properly.
What is that cartilage in almost every slice in every pack I've bought. I stopped buying it before because of it but recently made the mistake of thinking it got better but it hasn't. ive had to cut about 1" - 1.5" hunk from each slice or take the whole stack and cut it from the whole 2lb. package, leaving a big hole in the center of each slice.
This had 1 day until expired and so did my buttermilk I've never had bad experiences until lately. I make an order shows item in stock / store , then it's out of order !! If I hadn't needed it , I would not have ordered it. ALL Shelves desperately need to be restocked, not just when an associate decides to get off their personal cell phones !!! I want to continue to shop always at Walmart but missing and expired items are not acceptable
love this honey ham. but the only reason im commenting is to warn people about what's going on in Walmart super center store number 715 on Skyland Blvd in Tuscaloosa Alabama . apparently they don't care if you don't get everything you ordered online for pickup. if you have missing items from your online order you can normally get a refund for the missing items. but if you have 14 items missing from your online order you should get a refund but I didn't. I've waited 2 days for an email or text message to let me know that I got the refund for my 14 missing items and I still haven't received any. I even called the store to talk to the manager and let him know what's going on but naturally he wasn't in. so they gave me a department manager instead . i I explained to him what had happened and he said that it wasn't their problem it was a Walmart.com problem to call the 1800 number .well that wasn't what I was calling him for it was just to let the manager know that he has some issues that needs to be addressed. but they didn't even care . don't get me wrong. i like the new Walmart market just down the road but Walmart super center store number 715 on Skyland Blvd in Tuscaloosa Alabama does not care about the customer or if they have issues with their employees but they will take you money and keep it even if you don't get what you paid for
