The BEST; however, occasionally inconsistently baked. I got a couple of boxes that were hard and I had to put them in the oven and bake them a little longer. Otherwise, they are the very best very crispest very strongest ginger snaps I've ever eaten.
They actually snap and don't go soggy in the jar; Consistent flavor; excellent with chamo tea coffee, milk, cocoa, punkin pie shell and little ice cream sandwiches; I love them for digestion, nausea relief and breathe refresher when I have sinus cold. My Dog likes them too.
I was indoctrinated from toddler age by my dad who always dunked his favorite ginger snap cookie in his coffee and then give me bites. Of course they were the homemade kind but the flavor of these is a close copy per my memory. These are perfect for those who don't like or have time to bake.
These ginger snap cookies are a pleasant surprise for a store brand. The ginger flavor comes through clearly, with a nice balance of spice and sweetness. They have a good crunch and pair especially well with coffee or tea, but also work great as a quick snack on their own. The bag is a generous size for the price, making this a good value compared to name-brand options. Overall quality feels better than expected. The only downside is that some cookies can arrive broken, which is common with thinner, crunchy cookies. The spice level may also be a bit strong for anyone who prefers milder flavors. All in all, a dependable snack with great flavor and texture, just short of perfect.
I love ginger snaps. I used to buy a different brand ,but I can't always find them. When I saw the these available I had to try them. They are almost exactly the same.. They are great for dunking in coffee or milk, pie crust, and even mini ice cream sandwiches.
If you like spicy cookies, these are a bargain as cookies are really expensive if you go for the national brands. They have a great ginger flavor and are nice and crunchy. Great with a cup of coffee. I am a fan of treats with ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg spices in cookies and bars so these are a great cookie and a bargain to boot.
I used to love these cookies. Now they are so hot! I don't know if it's that the recipe changed or my tastes have changed but it's painful to eat them due to ginger heat. I've asked others to try them, even those who like hot foods and they think they're pretty hot too. If you like hot ginger you'll love them. Just too much for me. I eat honey infused with ginger, ginger beef is a favorite, ginger chews are a delight. So I'm not thinking it's my love of ginger that's changing.
I purchased 2 boxes, and both boxes came as if the employees had played football with them. If it had only been this item, I would not have been happy as they are cookies. Once I open them, I am sure they will be broken up. It is as if they provided only the items customers would not purchase off the shelf.
I had to eat seven cookies before ever tasting ginger! The cookies did not have a crunchy crunch like the real ginger snaps do. These were pretty much stale and packaged inside a cheap bag that tears easily. I do not recommend this item! I ended up throwing the first box away (after only eating 7, %26 the other box I gave away).
Has corn syrup. Is sugar expensive. No But corn syrup gives leaky gut. Walmart, could you please ask your supplier to not use harmful additives and corn syrup. Your customers keep you in business. And therefore your loyalty should be with your customers.
