I bought this for my little cousin and he loved it! Great activity for kids around the holidays :)

I followed the instructions exactly, but the brownies came out hard and overdone. I know to take it out sooner next time.

not the greatest brownie mix. very little batter for a 9x13 baking pan. might be better for a 8x8 or 9x9 pan instead. didn't use cookie cutter as it was too thick (after baking) to cut through, so we just imprinted with the shape and decorated them still in the pan. :) but really not worth it, even for the novelty idea of it. just buy a brownie mix and eat them. same difference. IMO.

After reading the reviews, I chose not to use the parchment paper or foil. I greased and floured a 9x13 pan and carefully spread out the mixture. The brownie cooked well and didn't stick. It's a brownie texture so using the cookie cutter does not give a clean cut. I ended up using a knife to cut out shapes. It turned out to be more of a fun decorating activity for my small grandsons. The kit only comes with 1 tube of white icing, so I bought the GV brand small tubes of colored decorating icing (NOT the gel type) and that really helped to bring color to the decorating.

Once I mixed the ingredients just like the box said I could tell something wasn't right it was very thick. The cookie cutter didn't cut them very well. The brownies tasted disgusting, even the kids thought so. The only good thing was they had fun decorating them but after they were decorated we threw them away. Don't buy!

These taste horrible I wish I could return them but my kids still wanted to be able to decorate. They are going to just let them go stale.

Purchased for my grandson to help make. While making them was fun, the taste is not. The brownies taste like licorice, the icing taste like paper

The icing had an odd consistency and tastes awful. The brownies were just okay. I wouldn't buy this again.
