It's rather good. I think I'd honestly prefer a name brand, but i also prefer saving dollars hehe. It tasted fairly well enough topped on my spaghetti and meatballs. A really fast and delicious supper..... Buy some frozen meatballs (I like the angus beef Rosina meatballs) and heat them on the stove in some spaghetti sauce on medium heat while at the same time boiling some pasta and pop a few Texas toasts in the toaster oven. It's way faster and less hassle (and i think less expensive) than scrambling ground beef. 15 minutes prep time you got spaghetti and meat balls and garlic bread....a little of this parmesan cheese on top, easy peasy. You can even whip up a quick garden salad with a lettuce kit, cucumber, tomato onion etc. Eat like a king or queen and it's super fast to make and inexpensive. It makes a LOT too, great if you have big family, even have leftovers.
I use to believe Parmesan was the only way to go. I now withdraw those thoughts💭! However, it's still good on not just Italian foods but I also use it on many other foodie edible items like salads, potato dishes, and more. The mixed cheese is my new way to go. 🤤YUM😋
We absolutely love grated Parmesan cheese. We're a seven person family. Italian family on top of it. We are on top of spaghetti, chicken, Parmesan, and our most favorite, which is chicken cutlets. Another thing you can do is add this to some cream and a little cornstarch and it makes the perfect Parmesan sauce for pasta.
I always use the Great Value grated cheeses. Why pay more money for the name brand when it's not necessary. Great Value grated cheese has, to me, a better flavor, more choices, and tastes fresh. I always use this in my homemade Italian meatballs. Want to make your own meatballs, here's my easy recipe... 1 pound ground beef 1 pound Italian sausage (Tennessee Pride) 1 cup Italian Bread crumbs 1 cup grated Great Value Parmesan Romano cheese 1 TBSP Great Value garlic powder 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes 1/2 tsp salt 1 TBSP fresh or dried Parsley, if desired, but not necessary splash of milk Mix all ingredients together in a big mixing bowl. Take a cookie scoop and scoop the mixture and shape into a ball and place on a cookie sheet. Do this until mixture is all used. Take a skillet and brown the meatballs on medium heat, rolling around in the pan, occasionally to keep from burning. Once they're browned on the outside, reduce the heat to medium-low and cover with a lid and continue to cook for another 5 minutes. Remove and place on a paper towel lined baking sheet to cool. You can then add some to your favorite spaghetti sauce, or place in a Great Value freezer bag and freeze for use at another time.
It is a very tasty and mixed look great creamy sauces, very surprised and delighted. What am I regular use products?Make a nice cheese soup with chicken breath , so thank you
Great Value Grated Parmesan and Romano Cheese is excellent for spaghetti, mac n' cheese, salads, eggs, buttered toast, pasta salads, vegetables, and so much more!
i love this on almost everything. pasta dishes, pizza, garlic bread, french fries, %26 my cereal haha gotcha in the last one. no lying though i would put it on my cereal if peeps wouldnt look at me funny
Our family likes this way netter than the name brand green top container one. It has all the same ingredients but taste and texture are much better. Better price too and in today's world price and better taste is a win win!
Parmesan without Romano doesn't have much flavor in my opinion. I need to use much less when I purchase the Parmesan/Romano combo. The quality seems similar to national brands and other premium store brands
I am neither a cheese expert nor a chef, but in my kitchen I don't get many complaints about my cooking! I use this Parmesan Romano blend in shells, lasagna, and ziti. It has been my go to choice especially since the recall for fresh Romano cheese occurred. We like it and it adds lots of flavor to our dishes.
