Great Value Grated Parmesan Cheese, 16 oz Bottle

Originally bought from our local grocery store and paid twice as much as we did from Walmart. The Great Value brand is creamy when sprinkled on pasta sauce and the sweetness of it makes your dinner all worthwhile. Definitely recommend this brand over Name Brands.

The only grated parmesan cheese I ever bought, was the big brand name. Store brands always had so many chemicals in them and tasted like sawdust to me. I was making a recipe that called for grated parmesan cheese. The big brand name was sold out, so I bought the Great Value brand. I was very surprised. It is better than the big brand name cheese. This cheese is soft and not hard. It has a slightly salty but nutty taste. I always keep a container in my refrigerator and use it in many recipes.

Wonderful cheesy parmesan taste. Good on pizza, spaghetti, lasagna and many other foods. This is my low-calorie favorite to add cheesy taste to any casserole. I also add some to boxed macaroni and get raves from those who eat it. Economical enough to use it often.

This was a replacement for a jar I previously received, and this jar of grated parmesan cheese is a definite improvement. It's very fresh and the color and aroma is excellent. Just as good as other higher priced 'packaged' parmesan cheeses. I'm happy with the quality and price.

The taste, texture %26 value succ3eede the name brands...this is a good value, and I use it all the time in my cooking (for an Italian man!)! Neither of us can tell the difference between brands in our own blind taste test! We won't go back to the pricier brand!

I decided to try this product and I am very impressed with the value and the taste. I use it in so many ways. I use it in my salad, potatoes, my Mac and Cheese, pizza, I'm a big cheese eater. I love this product!!! I keep it in stock I can't be without it!!! Good stuff 😊👍

I use this in cooking, and I like the taste and texture of the brand. It is much easier to keep and use than fresh cheese. Be sure your product is a yellow color. If it is turning slightly brown, it won't be good even though the expiration date is good. Walmart quickly replaced the product in these circumstances for me.

The jar had been damaged at the warehouse/store. The plastic lid had obviously been opened, the foil safety cover was punched in and half the contents poured out, but the shipping box was clean and undamaged. I tried contacting for replacement, or refund with pictures, but apparently it has to be sent back, which is impossible as I have no printer for a label and am homebound. Had it been same day delivery, this would not have been an issue, but having it shipped, I've lost my money.

While I would normally be thrilled to provide a great review. The item I received was expired by at least 2 months. It was just upsetting that the shopper did not pay attention to this detail. The color was a dark tan color. Was not able to use the product.
