Great Value Grated Parmesan Cheese, 8 oz Shaker

My teen daughters would hate me forever if I forgot their Parmesan cheese for their spaghetti. I ordered some Parmesan cheese for the next time I decide to make spaghetti! I had the Parmesan cheese delivered to my home within 1 hour with Walmart plus!! Thank you Walmart!!! :)

I know I'm repeating myself but WalMart brands are hard to beat. Being an Italian, I've tried them all and you can't tell this one from the big name brand. Don't waste your money. I got tired of shredding my own and bought it pre-shredded and then "trying" this during the money crunch days and I never bought any other brand. EVER.

This cheese is very good. I used the brand name for years and then I retired. Now, I try to save a few dollars here and there. But many of the store brands were awful. They tasted terrible and had the texture of cardboard. This Great Value Parmesan is equal to the Brand name Parmesan cheese. The flavor is not too salty and it pours/sprinkles smoothly from the canister. It is great on spaghetti or in recipes. My favorite thing to use it on is buttered popcorn. That is super delicious.

i was pleased with the last delivery, all except for the bread, it was smushed. please be careful not to smush it?

Was not an option on app to get a refund on a product that I did not receive but was charged for. Only option was to “return” product for refund?!?! Two other items I was able to get a refund on when I did not receive them on the same order.

We use so much Parmesan in our family, I opened this container and realized it was brown. The seal wasn’t broken and it was not expired based on the printed container date. I literally thought they switched to unbleached product. Can’t return and now I’m concerned about the future Parmesan purchases.

I COMPLAINED RIGHT AFTER I RECEIVED DELIVERY BECAUSE THE CHEESE WAS BROWN!!!!!!!!! I ALWAYS BUY THIS SAME GV GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE AND I HAVE NEVER!!!!!!!!!!! GOTTEN A BROWN CHEESE INSTEAD OF THE USUAL COLOR OF BEIGE OR OFF-WHITE. I EVEN UPLOADED 3 PICS SHOWING THE BROWN , THE FRONT OF BOTTLE AND THE BAR CODE SO YOU COULD CHECK IT WITH THE ONE PURCHASED. I NEVER GOT A RESPONSE WHICH REALLY SURPRISED ME. I RECOMMENDED THAT THE SHOPPER BE MORE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!!

Just bought this April 6 2026. Yet it expired back on Feb 13 2026. Need to start paying attention with these deliveries cause Walmart doesn't take old expired food off the shelves

I buy my cheese before I run out. When I open a bottle, I order another. So, since opening this cheese, I keep thinking there’s something different about it. The texture and the taste are all wrong. First of all, it’s a very fine powder, like flour. It’s never been like this. Second, the taste is off. It’s smoother and a lot milder. It’s not horrible, like it’s spoiled, but it’s definitely not a good substitute for parmesan cheese. Unfortunately, the return window is closed. Just be aware. I’ve bought this cheese a few times and never had any issues before this.

Bought this a few weeks ago and it had Nov 9th 2025 as an expiration date and it was brown when I opened it
