Great Value Ground Ginger, 1.5 oz

It's ground ginger, and it does exactly what you expect it to do. Good flavor, works well in recipes, and I've never noticed any difference compared to the more expensive brands. It blends in just right and gives that warm spice you're looking for. This is one of those basics that's hard to justify paying more for when this works perfectly fine. Simple, affordable, and gets the job done.

As always, I find Great Value Spices less expensive and high quality! If you do not like to grate fresh ginger ...you will be very happy with this Ginger! It has great taste and I personally can not tell the difference from using fresh grated Ginger~!

I make Firewater . ginger turmeric and black pepper. I add other ingredients like Cheyenne and oregano. boostes immune system. you add water in a large pot boil. down adding water til condensed. like the entire day ... drink a shot a day . can't go wrong with all these ill my esses these days

Thank goodness for Great Value, with the economy the way it is and companies price gouging i wouldn't be able to afford some things. This ginger is just as good and saves me money for other spices. I make gingers snapes and ginger bread for the holidays so getting my spices together. Totally recommend

I use the ground ginger for cooking and baking. It is great for so many dishes. I made slow cooking beef and broccoli today and this kicked up the sauce for sure a notch. It still has the ginger bite for a fraction of the cost of fresh. Since finding fresh ginger is hard here I am do glad to have this option.

I like spiced coffee- ginger,ceylon cinnamon,nutmeg - so good! I love ginger! Use it for savory dishes,baked goods,soups. Great Value Ginger is affordable %26 fits my budget.

I buy this Great Value Ground Ginger to use in many of my recipe's. It's just as good as the name brand ground ginger at a fraction of the cost. It's a no brainer.

I haven't used enough of it yet to give you a glowing review. I love to use ginger in many dishes and recipes. However most of the dishes I prepare don't use much at a time. As for the jar, shaker, I recommend you shake the jar every now and then so it doesn't get "cloggy".. The pricing is,, as always with Walmart, a great value.

I have never used ginger before. I had no idea what it was used for. It called for it in a recipe so I used it. It added. a good flavor to the recipe. I will try to use it more often now
