Grand master pickle

Jason June 17, 2026

These pickles make other pickle jealous of how pickly they are. I prescribe far to many alternative pickle anti-depressants every year to other brands but great value pickles have never entered my office. Maybe because I eat them when they arrive but they seemed happy. I am the pickle Dr.

A very good alternative to pricier name brands.

ERIC May 17, 2026

To be honest, I wasn't sure how they would be, I do like my Vlasic brand more often than not, but decided to give great value brand a try. Really there wasn't much difference as far as taste goes, but they were surprisingly thick cut. Sometimes off brand is noticeably different but these were basically the same as most popular name brand if not better.

Kids eat them as a snack

Paige May 30, 2026

These pickles have the perfect crisp crunch and a great tangy flavor. They are sliced just right for layering onto sandwiches and burgers. My kids actually like to eat them on its own.

What? Yes, grab and serve 'em up to the peeps!

Michael June 1, 2026

I don't know what I would do without this: Hamburgers, Falafels, salads, there's just so many ways you need these in your pantry. You're crazy not to grab them at this price and quality. Believe me they are a fortune anywhere else.

A great price for great dill pickles

Douglas May 22, 2026

If you like dill pickles and who doesn't, Great Value has awesome tasting dill chips. Great on hamburgers and hot dogs. Chop and mix into potato salad. A great price for great dill pickles.

Highly recommend these pickle chips they are in my opinion perfectly sour and tangy, a pack of great punch and chicken salad so I tend to use them in my salads instead of using traditional relish. They're also the perfect thickness it works really well on burgers and other sandwiches. The jars are a bit hard to open so you definitely want to use the butter knife trick. And don't forget to save the pickle juice that you can also add two dishes like tuna and chips or other salads that you make.

Chewy pickles

Janet May 25, 2026

Tasted sugary. Have noticed dill pickles across the board don't taste as good as they have in the past. Must be due to processing. The peel/rind is tough and chewy. I almost peel my dill pickles. Back to this brand. I drained the vinegar and put the “sauce” from an empty jar in it. I have complained to Mt Olive and Vlasic. They don't care.

Tastes Like Wendy's Pickles But…

Sara May 31, 2026

The flavor of the pickles is great but a white film developed on top of the liquid so I had to throw the jar out. I'm hopeful that was an isolated incident and will try them again as they taste like Wendy's pickles and that's a plus!
