Crisp with a combination taste of lime and salt. I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit that I'm addicted to these tortilla chips and keep them as a staple in my cupboard. They are yummy microwaved with cheese and jalapeno peppers, or just munchy on their own.
We really like the GV chips but they are ALWAYS MOSTLY BROKEN !!😡 No matter what chips we purchase they are mostly all broken into tiny little pieces. These lime tortilla chips have a good lime flavor but there were only 8 chips big enough for nachos 😡😡
The hint of lime tortilla chips taste just like the brand of Tostitos. If you put them in a bowl, nobody would be able to tell the difference without the packaging. I highly recommend them and they are so much cheaper than the name-brand. Unbelievable!!!
So I grabbed a bag of tortillos for a dish I thought about making. I grabbed the wrong bag cause it has lime. I got home and tried one. The taste was good, the texture was awesome. Soon I ate the whole bag in days. I enjoy it as a snack or in a dish.
These cantina chips with a hint of lime stands as thee base of all my favorite snacks that will go on top. Cheese, tuna with jalapenos meatball or sausage and mozzarella will sit nicely on this leading cantina of the wise snacking population!!!!
I got fat off eating these. I gave up tortilla chips a few months ago and already lost 20 lbs. I recently found a jar of salsa in my fridge that was about to expire so I bought 2 more bags, since I'm too poor to waste food, probably gained back 5 lbs in the process, but now I'll never buy these again.
I normally find the Great value brand of products to be of a good quality, so I was very disappointed after trying these tortilla chips. The texture of the chips seems off, almost as though they are a little bit stale, which they were not. although I love lime flavored chips, this particular one left a nasty, almost metallic, aftertaste in my mouth. we couldn't finish the bag and they went straight into the trash.
I sat down to watch a "few minutes" of the newer robocop movie yesterday only to wonder why I couldn't sleep last night and why I felt cramped and bloated today. Thanks to Google's Gemini, I learned I ate too many of the lime chips. Stay with me -- citric acid, garlic powder, dextrose, and yeast extract are precisely the ingredients digested that caused the adverse effects. i see why THIS product is on sale too. I'm not eating this again.
I used to love these but they recently changed the recipe and now they are awful! They're thicker but not in a good way. I like them thin, crispy, and with an actual hint of lime. Couldn't taste the lime at all. I liked the price but next time I will spend the extra money and get name brand.
these used to be good but they don't put nearly a good amount of flavoring on it AND it always breaks apart into little pieces unless you treat it like glass. the quality has gone down since like 2025. I though maybe I just got a defective one but NO it's all like that now
