Great Value Holiday Hot Chocolate Pancake and Waffle Mix, 16 oz

These great value hot chocolate pancakes were delicious. Good texture, good taste and they were super easy to make. These made my holiday. I drizzled chocolate syrup on them, a dab of whipped cream, and sprinkled them with a few marshmallows. We ate this on christmas eve for dessert. The flavour was amazing and I will stock up on these when they come back out again.

If you don't buy them I will. The BEST pancakes I've ever had in my entire life!!. If you slightly under cook them they will be just a tiny bit gooey in the center and it is pure mouth joy. You can add on just a hint of syrup and whipped cream but it's not necessary. Not quite pancake, not quite brownie, not quite cake, not quite hot chocolate, it really is it's own thing and deserves to be classed separate. The only bad part is that it isn't too pretty to look at and it is a seasonal product so I can only stock up once a year but I guess that leaves hope for my ever expanding waist line ;-)

I absolutely love this product and cannot wait till its back in stock so I can order a dozen more. .lol

Wow. These are yummy. My 10 year old likes to cook and these are easy and fun for kids! They are quite chocolatey.

The mix is excellent but the instructions were awful. The batter was very thick and after measuring the 1/4 cup serving the pancake ended up 1/2 inch thick. I added 1/3 cup milk to the remaining batter (10-14 pancakes) and they were perfect. The grandkids made them and we ate them all.

My 4 yr old loved these. The texture is more like a dense chocolate cake. Overall we all liked them.

Very sweet... almost like a cake. Probably most people will like that, but I was hoping for something less sweet-- like a pancake. If you add nuts, it's almost like a brownie. It is indeed a "great value" though

not that impressed. thought there would be marshmallow s in the batter

I was so excited to try these after loving the GV Pumpkin Spice Pancakes, but I was disappointed. They are pretty bland. The chocolate taste isn't strong, and there's no marshmallows in the mix. I used 5 mini marshmallows in mine and that helped the flavor a lot. For the price it's okay, but not what I was expecting.

this looked really good..its not...pasty chocolate flavor and the pancakes are fluffy as usual..just make regular pancakes and add chocolate chips..plus my grandson wouldn't try them, he thought the pancakes were burnt...my granddaughter ate them but shes 17 months old and is not a picky eater...i would not recommend this product
