If you're looking for a lunch meat that checks every box without breaking the bank, Great Value Honey Ham is the undisputed heavyweight champion of the deli aisle. Here is why it has become a permanent fixture in our fridge: Premium Taste: It genuinely stands up to the big-name brands. The balance of savory ham with that hint of honey sweetness is spot on—never overly salty or artificial. The "Goldilocks" Cut: The thickness is exactly where it needs to be. It's substantial enough to feel like a real sandwich, but thin enough to fold and stack for that perfect deli-style texture. Unbeatable Value: The price point is a total win. You get the same quality (and often better) than the expensive labels, making it easy to keep the whole family fed. Eco-Friendly Bonus: One of the best "secret" features is the sturdy, reusable container. Once the ham is gone, the tub is perfect for leftovers, meal prep, or organizing small household items. It's the gift that keeps on giving! The Verdict: Whether you're packing school lunches or making a late-night snack, this ham proves you don't have to spend a fortune to get top-tier quality.
This is my favorite deli ham! It's great on a cold sandwich with Swiss cheese, and delicious on a piece of toast with a fried egg on top for breakfast. The taste and texture are fantastic, and that little bit of sweetness imparted by the honey make it pair with a salted egg beautifully!
100% recommended. It's the first time I purchased this product.Although I don't like how they package the meat. As there wise than that, it's 100% recommended. Really good. I was really surprised seeing how this is the first time that I've got Delhi meat from Walmart I normally go to the regular grocery stores to the meat counter to purchase my sandwich meat. However, I thought I'd give it a shot and it was really, really good. But there's not a lot of meat in there for the value, I guess it's okay.
this was so fresh and so good my boys ate it up and didn't even notice it wasn't the normal deli meat i get i just gave it a shot to save some money and it was a hit, looks like im getting this from now on an saving money and making everyone happy at the same time, thats a hit , : ) thank you Walmart
This is my go to for many meals. Great for sandwiches, but also good to add to casseroles omelets, stir fry and more. Always buy the large size with two packs Easy to freeze one for later., Also the containers are great to recycle for leftovers.
Well, another glowing review, but that's what happens when they keep asking me to review my staple items. This honey ham goes great with Hawaiian bread in particular, esp with eggs and sharp cheddar cheese in a sandwich. OMG yum! Also great with hashbrowns thrown in - yes, in a sandwich. If you really need that many calories. Also you can cut it into little tile-type pieces and drop them into ramen along with some veggies. Good for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack - hardest things are to avoid just gobbling it right out of the container, and untangling that kleenex-style way they stack the slices. Hey, this isn't a box with a slit where one piece needs to pull up the next piece so you can reach it. Just stack them normally please.
Great value and taste. Not too sweet. However for some reason it spoils quickly. I'll buy this along with the honey turkey both having the same expiration date and before the date comes, the ham has begun to spoil. This has happened a few times so I started freezing it.
My wife likes the convenience of the packaging of this ham myself. I like the flavor of it on a grilled cheese sandwich with jalapeño bread, but it's also great sliced up for crackers and cream cheese. Has excellent flavor not too salty and stand enough to put on a nice fluffy omelette so you don't need to add salt, definitely try it. It's affordable. To at least last a week for two.
Picked up this Great Value Honey Ham Lunchmeat the other day—nine ounces in a plastic tub, keeps it fresh longer than the sliced bags. Flavor's pretty solid, that sweet honey glaze hits just right without being cloying, and the meat's tender enough for sandwiches or straight outta the fridge. Not too salty either, which is a win for my blood pressure. Price-wise? Steal at under three bucks. Only gripe: sometimes the slices clump together in the tub, so you gotta peel 'em apart gently. Overall, solid everyday ham—I'll grab it again.
I ordered hillshire farms brand and got this store brand crap as "substitute". It is of inferior quality and taste. I did NOT authorize any substitutes. I will be seriously considering NOT ordering for any more Walmart INCOMPETENT deliveries from the Marble Falls store..
