As a single parent household there’s some night you just want a quick meal without fuss but not fast food. This is delicious. I was not impressed with the sauce as it has a very pronounced ground mustard taste vs honey mustard taste so we doctored it up by using another honey mustard. That being said the convenience of this meal 100% worth it. Can I buy the stuff and make it myself yes but we don’t go through a lot of potatoes or green beans so this alone saves waste for our household. Chicken could be a bit bigger but for the cost it’s a good amount. Served 2 people with enough for leftovers for lunch next day. Will buy again 100%
Very tasty, and about as easy as a frozen meal can get, just dump and bake. Id reccomend adding extra green beans, plus adding oil to the bag and shaking/mixing it up before dumping instead of just greasing the pan. Theres also a lot of sauce to the amount of food. Texture is good and normal, comparable to a fresh sheet pan roast, just the chicken is a little dryer being pre cooked. But overall very good for a low energy / no spoons meal! (photo shows the meal prepared and sauced in a tupperware. this is half of what was in the bag)
I thought this was good, for what it is. I did add my own bag of green beans as mentioned by others and added some olive oil to the bag and shook it before pouring onto the sheetpan. My only complaint is that there should have been more chicken. The flavor was nice and the texture of the veggies was good. For someone that doesn't even have time to chop vegetables it's a win!
Flavor wasn’t terrible, but wouldn’t call it honey mustard. I got 2 tiny pieces of chicken, hubby said he didn’t notice any chicken in his and only about 1/4-1/3 of it left. Probably 3 servings or maybe 2 adults and 2 small children. If I realized how little chicken was in it I would have added some chicken strips. Bacon would have helped too, but by the time you add stuff it’d become a pretty expensive meal. I wouldn’t buy it again
I myself like it, but it’s a very strong mustard taste and then you get a LOT of pepper taste… I got this for me and my kids 2 and 4 and it was def too spicy for them
I liked the idea behind this, and it was easy to cook. overall, there wasn't much chicken and everything was just kind of flat. i think making this from scratch will be next go to. great idea poor execution
I'm guessing they cut the potatoes and chicken so small so they would be ready the same time as the green beans but that was the first mistake. They cooked up rubbery or hard and the green beans were still overdone. It would have been better if the chicken and potatoes were larger pieces and the green beans kept in a separate pouch to be added about 1/2way through the cooking. Then there's the honey mustard sauce, which thankfully I only used half of the pouch and it was STILL fat to overwhelming!! As it was I still dumped it out onto paper towels and tried to blot most of it off!! We couldn't have eaten it as was!! Overall this item needs a complete overhaul, increase the size of the chunks of potatoes and chicken, pack green beans separately to be added midway through cooking and for the love of God dial back the sauce to a LIGHT amount of a more vinegrette type dressing and not such a heavy, cloying sauce that overtakes everything, you should be able to TASTE the roasted chicken, potatoes and green beans and the sauce be a LIGHT flavor to enhance not drown them . One last thing, the serving size?🤣🤣 this barely feeds 2 adults!! Once you dial back the calories from the sauce , replace them with more of the chicken, potatoes and green beans and get more realistic about the portions. An average adult is going to eat 1 3/4-2 C as a serving.
This was not difficult to make but chicken had a hard texture and couldn’t be differentiated between the potatoes. Green beans cooked too fast and were crispy. The sauce was flavorful, almost too strong and not great tasting. Will not be purchasing again or recommending to others.
The honey mustard packet has a horseradish flavor. You'll know what I mean if you like honey mustard, its not all the same flavor depending on where you get it. You can only get a few bites in before it's overwhelming and takes your breath away (in a bad way). I do not recommend this for a quick dinner, and we're a family that LOVES honey mustard flavoring. There are also very few pieces of chicken. Between a family of 3 we probably only got 8-12 small diced pieces of chicken in the entire bag. I actually divided my plate because I had 5 pieces of chicken, and my daughter got none in her scoops. It's majority potatoes, and the potatoes turned out mushy even though I baked them at 425 degrees for 35 minutes as directed by the instructions. Not trying to nit pick but these turned out terrible compared to my expectation. I do not recommend.
Great idea but horrible execution. It’s easily made but it tastes horrible. Very little meat. Thechicken is overcooked, the potatoes don’t taste good and the green beans are over done. Would never buy this again.
