Delicious. Tastes so fresh like it was sliced that day. Honey flavor, no slime, perfect for sandwiches. Have for lunch or dinner. Lasts a good amount of time in the fridge sealed. Bigger pack comes with 2 individually sealed plastic bags. Also I freeze and take out, still fresh.
I have used this wonderfully tasting honey turkey for more than a year., and I will continue. However, the last time I I had it delivered to my home. When I took it out of the grocery bag, the top of the container was swollen really high. I threw it away., I could have taken it back and I know they would have replaced it. Didn’t do that due to bad weather. However, I will buy again because that was just an isolated event.
I actually like the Great Value brand a lot more than I did the name brand. I like that it's thinner sliced and the way it's packaged. It doesn't tear when I separate the slices. It's good for breakfast lunch, and dinner ( on sandwiches and to put in salads or just a snack).
I love using pumpernickle bread to make a turkey, a slice of sharp cheese, sometimes a thin slice of onion, a dash of mayo/ mustard or maybe slicesd tomato/ lettuce. Makes a great sandwich.
I love this better than the others
this is my go-to for lunch I'm a big fan of sandwiches all types
I was shocked how small the amount of Turkey there was in this package. I would have paid more if I knew the price had gotten that high just to have enough to last a little while for even one or two people. Don't be fooled by the package as that plastic tub is about 1 quarter to one 3rd full
While I fully understand budgets, processed turkey gets really slimy and sticky after the first week. This does not last long, unless you are making loads of sandwiches every day, the stuff they put in this it doesn't last long. You are better off going with the deli counter meats.
Purchased and is molded before expiration date of Nov 23, 2025
I am normally very happy with all Great Value products. However, my honey roasted turkey was spoiled. The expiration date was in September of this year.
