Great Value Honey Wheat Bread, 20 oz

It tastes good and the bread is fluffy. they are a bit thin you can't fit tmo much on them so they get soggy quick but the taste is good and serves its purpose. My only problem is that sometimes they are fresh and sometimes they are stale and I've bought some that grew mold over night. so in my experience buying this bread you never really know until you use them, it's a hit or miss with these. it is one of my go to items only because I like the taste and it's good quality for the price.

I have always hated wheat bread. It tasted like dirt to me. When I was young, an adorable young lady, that I had a huge crush on, made me a sandwich. That was my first experience eating wheat bread. I muscled it down but I hated it. You don't tell a girl you have a huge crush on that you don't like the sandwich she made for you. You smile. You chew. You swallow. You say "Thank you. That was delicious." To this day, she doesn't know I hated the bread in that sandwich. Shh... Recently, I have been making sandwiches as snacks for my 90 year old mother. She's on a low salt/low sugar diet. I bought a loaf of this honey wheat bread. Mom loves honey. She never mentioned the change in bread. I tried a slice. Wait! What? I liked it! I buy loaves of this bread for myself now too. Great product. Great Price. Tastes Great!

I love this bread. It makes great sandwiches. I find it stays fresh longer than many other breads ive bought. Ut has a taste of healthy sweetness from the honey baked in it. Its a larger loaf also lasting longer. Much cheaper than other loafs too. Now Im craving toast with butter. Its delicious.

actually, this was a fortunate mistake. I didn't order honey wheat, I wanted white sandwich bread because I can't stand the texture of wheat and I had never tried HONEY wheat. No notification of substitute so it was a mistake but, I kept it and really liked it. So, cool. 5 stars all day long, 😆!

Hello everyone! I'm gonna tell you like this, I'm Diabetic and I can't just have anything that I would like to eat. But let me tell you about this Great Value Honey Wheat bread!! This is the BEST tasting bread that this mouth has EVER tasted!!! If you like honey, it's there, if you want fresh, it's there, if you like wheat it's there and its sweet! It tastes so good that I want a lot of it! I only get the 20oz because that's the largest that they sell! I want the most loaves that I can get! And the price is so reasonable, and during these present times that's the best gift that we can receive! Thank you Walmart!! You're Great 👍

There is no dislike!!! This bread is great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and of course snacks!!! Toast butter and honey/jelly or peanut butter😋 Hickory smoked spam sandwiches.😋 Great for stuffings in turkey or separate in casserole or filler in meatloaf.😋

i can get a loaf of bread at a decent price n have it taste great is awesome its something id recommend to someone else if there on budget like me because the price of groceries is high unless you can find a better deal n still have food that taste great

We tried this bread because it is significantly more affordable than a name brand loaf of similar type. There is definitely a reason it is cheaper. It was a bit dry and did not have the sweetness you would expect from honey wheat bread. That said, the price difference is big enough and the flavor ia good enough we will continue to buy this bread.

I purchased this product and. And, had already ate a few slices. Then one morning, I noticed what looked like a worm. Which were in different slices. You could tell they were alive. I never returned the item, definitely discarded. In hindsight I should have returned this item and get a refund. BUT WILL DEFINITELY NOT PURCHASE OR Recommend. NO!!!!!

My personal experience is what I have complained about before, there is no quality control regarding the people packing my groceries. I don' t mean the young people bringing out my groceries. Yesterday, Nov. 30 I ordered groceries online in the afternoon and went to pick them up from the Walmart at Vista Del Sol and Zaragosa. The young man loading my groceries in my trunk came to tell me he needed to go back in the store to replace 'this', it was a bag of tortilla chips ripped open along the top of the bag, it was totally obvious. When he returned I thanked him for noticing and replacing the bag. But now I'm at home fuming because I was cooking toast and scrambled eggs and the bread is hard and crusty, Well the 'best by' date is Nov. 29.... so that means it was already expired the day before it was ordered and picked up by me. As a consumer, I basically bought and paid for a loaf of expired bread. Someone needs to supervise the people packing up my order!
