Great Value Individually Plastic Wrapped Singles American Cheese Product, 12 oz, 16 Slices

Although, it says cheese product it is delicious. And tastes exactly like cheese. I was given the white instead of yellow. But they both are similar and taste a like. They unwrap easy, but sort of melt/stick quickly. Not the same texture as freshly sliced cheese. Still recommend!

I was extremely skeptical about this cheese. I only like Kraft cheese I have tried other off brands before and I was not happy about them. let me tell you from the point of view of a kdt cheese lover this is the only off brand that is close to Kraft cheese I actually ate this brand and Kraft cheese could not tell the difference. imthey both melted on my hamburger the exact same way. I was very impressed I just ordered the white cheese to compare the difference I hope I'm not disappointed with the white cheese. I will be buying this cheese for now on instead of Kraft because it's the same and better price than Kraft who would have known that!

I have to admit I was happily surprised. This was such a big huge improvement from a year ago. My granddaughter bought these and brought them home and they were delicious. They melted just like the name brand. It was perfect and the price is wonderful.

I kid you not, when I tasted a slice of this cheese it was an OMG moment! It is sooo good, Better than the brand I buy. You see, I bought a store brand at another store about 3 years ago and it tasted like plastic, no taste at all. I swore never again. But 99% of the Walmart products I've tried have been really very good. So I bought a package of my usual brand, just in case and a package of Great Value. I'll be buying Great Value from now on.

I like this american cheese, it's just as good as the more expensive brands. The flavor is great and it melts nicely in recipes and grilled sandwiches.

Ever since I had my first grilled cheese sandwich they were always made with orange American Cheese slices Then one day when in a hurry I quickly grabbed the white American Cheese slices, and I have seldomly purchased the orange American Cheese slices since. The other day I placed a order for some groceries through my Walmart membership that's worth it's weight in gold as I don't have to stand in line, intermingle the aisles of other shoppers. I chose orange American Cheese slices as my alternative choice for my order and I received the orange. I made a grilled cheese sandwich with cream of tomato soup for lunch today and I found that not only does the white American Cheese look creamier,it tastes creamier than the orange.i know it's psychological but I swear the orange American Cheese slices just don't taste as creamy. My membership lets me use my valuable time on other things that would be waiting to get done after I went to Walmart and filled my cart, lugged the bags around out to the truck, and then home and into the house. Now I stop what I am doing answer the door, give them my code and usually the delivery driver from the Plattsburgh NY Walmart Super Center offers to carry the bags into the house and put them in the kitchen or on the foyer floor. Great service and worth the money. Do the 30-day free trial, you won't regret it, plus no spontaneous purchases because I accidentally went grocery shopping when I was hungry. Thank you Walmart for letting me get more weekend and Friday evening time to use for my to-do list of things at home rather than starting on the list after 2 hours of grocery shopping, transporting and carrying them from your shelves to our shelves .

This cheese has been bought for years for my son. I've seen the taste get worse overtime . But, the thin slices is the most disappointing. It's very hard to separate it from the plastic and both tears, which is dangerous for plastic to get left on it. The price has continued to go up and the quality is significantly worse . I've been told Aldi's has better quality store brands but lower amount. At this point, something has got to give . Walmart has got to announce they'll do bettter! I'm not going to be buying groceries from them much longer.

it's supposed to be sliced cheese. it's not. it's like a paste. It's gross! I've never seen anything like this before. if I could give zero stars, I would. I want a refund

I dislike that for some unknown reason Walmart is refusing to deliver any groceries to my home. All I did was get a new phone and everything at Walmart grinds to a stop. Please let me get my groceries. I am a 79 yr old woman who does not drive and this is one of the few ways I can get groceries. WHY IS THIS A PROBLEM???

I have encountered a few of the slices that have thin strips of plastic in them when I bite into them. I don't know if it's coming from the cheese itself or from the wrapper that is pulled off with the cheese slice. I was not that concerned when it happened on the first one, but for it to happen with several different pieces makes me think there is a problem with production.
