I grabbed this cheese accidentally when I was in a rush, one day shopping and thank God I did because I would’ve never bought it. That cheese was so good. The taste was so bursting my flavor that cheese, cherry cheese or just oh gosh, they had more flavor than some of the other one on ones that I use. I love that cheese. I love it on my crackers. I have one of my sandwiches. I love to just open it and eat it. My dogs even love it. I’m telling you you can’t go wrong with this cheese. Try it you’ll see what I’m talking about.

The great value American cheese is just as good as the name brand stuff. It taste great, melts quick, ans tasty. only issue i have is when unrapping the clear wrapping paper from cheese is that it tears too easily and doesnt come off on one try when pulled.

I was very surprised by this cheese! There are certain things I am a stickler about when it comes to make brands. Sliced American cheese was one, for years. Decided to give this a try, and was shocked to discover that I actually PREFER it!! It melts wonderfully in a grilled cheese, as well as over steamed veggies. I'm sold!

I would recommend this if you're on a tight budget. It has a very bland, fake like taste. However, I have had to purchase it many times in order to make grilled cheese, other sandwiches, and to cut up and sprinkle on salads, etc. It is good when you melt it, on toast, and it does provide some calcium so that's a plus. But in my opinion, it doesn't taste all that great plain. If you can though, get the great value sharp cheddar cheese block. It's worth it.

Not bad, melts well and tastes pretty good in sandwiches, omelets and scrambled eggs. Quality overall is good, just the price is not what you would expect from Walmart. The price should be lower like Walmart used to advertise having!!! This steady regular increase in prices throughout the store is making me have to cut my monthly shopping list down. Walmart needs to start giving Senior Citrizens a big discount!!!!!

I bought this great value brand American Cheese product because you no longer sell Bordens brand my favorite and Kraft is much more expensive.. I won’t buy i this again, it has a crumbly texture and if you try to wrap it around a slice of cold cut, it falls to pieces. Not fond of the taste either

I have bought this for years. The new package I got does not melt at all. I have never had this issue. Then, I notice on the package it says “contains bioengineered food products” but that part is not shown in the photos. It was removed from the photo and it is very deceiving. Very disappointed. Will not buy this again.

First and last time buying this. It was terrible! It's not often I give a 1 to a GV item but this has no taste and is like eating a sheet of rubbery glue! zIt doesn't melt in the microwave unless you add a lot of extra time for each piece. This was a big FAILURE.
