Great Value Individually Plastic Wrapped Singles American Cheese Product, 24 oz, 32 Slices

This cheese is awesome used to get Kraft singles and even thought I preferred them, and got these for my dog! Then sharing them as I fed my dog these found out I like them even better than the Kraft singles. Less expensive and superior taste thank you Walmart.

This is 1 of the Generic Brands I would definitely recommend seriously you get 32 slices for only $3.38 and the 1 thing I am very picky about is cheese because most of the generic brand taste horrible and this brand you can't go wrong and will also save around 3-$4.00 by buying Great Value Brand Cheese trust me any other generic brands are a waste of money

Individually wrapped slices of cheese ready to use as pleased. The cheese melts good for grilled cheese or on top of a hamburger it tastes good and my household enjoys it perfect for many uses so I will always buy Great Value cheese singles for my family because but is good

This is the American cheese you'll almost always find in our refrigerator. My husband and son both love it, and it's become one of those grocery items we make sure never to run out of. My husband has eaten this on his work sandwiches for years and years. Now that he is retired, he has gone back to eating lunch meat with these cheese singles on them. He also likes toasted cheese sandwiches. This is so much easier to use than Velveeta.

The product tastes a lot like Kraft, but it's not the perfect dupe. This cheese is more sticky, so there's often a bit of it left on the perimeter of the wrapper. It doesn't stay cold as long as the name brand either. It's definitely a solid choice if you want to save money.

I ate a piece of cheese and I thought I had gotten a piece of my hair in it, so I spit it out and got another piece. When I tried to eat it, the same thing was in it. Every slice I opened was the same, a hair thin piece of stretchy plastic. I did call and report this and they refunded my money. They promised to follow up but I've heard nothing. I have not purchased this cheese since that date.

I'm not sure why this product and the smaller packs of their single American slices differ so much. The ingredients are the same, however the cheese in this pack is darker in color and doesn't melt. Skip this and just get the 24 pack of American singles, or two of the 16 count packs

This “cheese” does NOT melt! It puffs up and burns. I would not recommend this to anyone and threw it all in the garbage. This is a chemical lookalike - not cheese. Please note, I am a fan of many Great Value products, but this is definitely not one of them.

Since everything is getting expensive. I thought I would buy the Great Value American Cheese brand instead of Kraft. Usually the Great Value brand has great tasting affordable dupes for name brand items. However this is the exception! This cheese was truly horrible. It was darker in color than Kraft and it didn't taste the same at all. It also doesn't melt. The Great Value American Cheese does NOT melt. So it will not melt if you make grilled cheeses and it will not melt if you put them on top of your burger patties on the grill or pan. Which honestly is really weird. I don't understand why this cheese won't melt. Besides it not melting. This cheese tastes bad.
