i've been buying great value white american cheese singles for years %26 they are always delicious. they taste a lot different than yellow american. white cheese singles are delicious added to soups or beans, or on pizzas or sandwiches. this is very versatile.

Due to an allergy to the natural coloring, Annatto, which is in all yellow cheese, I can't eat regular American Cheese. I am grateful to find the Store brand to have White American Cheese available. If it was only as easy to find White Cheddar Cheese.

Normally a Kraft girl and brand loyal this GV brand white cheese was purchased by accident. We do not like the GV yellow american cheese BUT this white american is actually excellent! Great for anything you would use whtie cheese for. (hot ham and cheese, tuna sandwiches on toast with cheese), burgers...creamy smooth flavor and the texture is that of a big name brand for less costs! I would buy this again in the white american.

there's been way better than the yellow keys and then trying to get it for the last date months I'm glad it's back I wouldn't totally recommend it it's got a good taste to it

I think it's good for the money it used to be a dollar 98 I think it went up to $2.98 I think it's just the inflation with everything but I prefer the other Great value swiss cheese that's more natural but you get less so I purchase this product for more.

I like to cook with this white cheese. Has a cheesy flavor for casseroles or toppings. Rather salty, so be careful. Makes scrumptious grilled cheese sandwiches. I also use it for mozzarella if needed since the flavor is not overwhelming. Especially good in queso dip with chili or rotel. Cooks well with a creamy texture and mild cheddar flavor. Inexpensive compared to other sliced cheese products. Good staple to keep stocked.

I've been buying this cheese for years... Somehow White American Cheese feels "fancier" than Yellow American Cheese, lol. But in the past year or so, I've noticed that the cheese texture has changed... It's a bit floppier? Elasticy-er? I used to be able to open a slice and break it in half easily, with those craggly "broken cheese" cracks, but now, I can bend the entire slice in half without any damage to the slice (it doesn't break in half at all). I have to tear it in half, and it feels plasticky. Like fake food. It still tastes fine, but the texture when handling it is just weird. It melts fine on sandwiches or burgers, with no odd effects. Also, the change in the plastic packaging around the single has changed - there's no double-flap now, which made it easier to open (I could kind of run my hand down from the top, catch the open flap to pull the folded flap up, and then hook my finger under the open flap to unwrap the single completely). Now there's a single flap that is fully sealed down on the sides, with writing on the plastic to tell me where the flap is. A simple change that has undone 30 years of muscle memory, I suppose.

The price was right, but I think I will stick to Kraft white American cheese. I prefer the taste of Kraft over this. I found it to be sticky — it was hard to peel from the plastic wrap. The texture was not as good either. Grilled cheese sandwiches would probably be fine using it but eating it plain, not so much.
