with this purchase I've learned that kettle chips don't arrive in crumbs. not tough and no uncooked pòtato I had been ignoring. seasoning great w/o teary-eyed burn(which I love) but totally good. only "less than desirable) aspect is the size and i think you get what you pay for.
Great Value amazes me sometimes. excellent taste and inexpensive. No need gor expensive name brand chips when these are over 1/2 off the brand name jalapeño kettle chips..you cant put the bag down..not overly hot, but tasty..a bit salty and good crunch appeal. Only complaint is msny of the chips are rather small in size. Grab a bag!
Store brand chips can taste stale or off but these Great Value Jalapeño chips were crunchy and spicy, with lots of whole large chips. They are half the price of the brand name kettle chips and my family said these were tastier. They were perfect as a treat in packed lunches.
Great value jalapeño kettle chips are the best jalapeño chips. I've tried three other brands of jalapeño chips and they do not have the right amount of spice. These chips have the right amount of jalapeño spice, the right amount of salt, and the right amount of crunch! I'm always looking for them when I come into the store. Chef's kiss!
I don't usually write a review for food products but these are really good. These are the best chips I've ever had - they are better than Doritos and Miss Vickie's. Everyone I have shared them with also becomes addicted. They taste as good as or better any brand name chips. Also if you eat only a half serving, which is 9 chips, it's only 4 grams of fat.
I'm so tempted to gatekeep these chips. They are so good! Perfect kettle crunchiness, perfect size. Great flavor and spice kick. Total winner. Especially if they keep it at this price and don't shrinkflation the bag size or anything. Keep it up great value! I could go for salt and vinegar flavor next please make that!
Yep, that is what I said, these are the same as that big brand, just in the economy packaging. How do know, you wonder? It's simple… When I first suspected this I bought a package of each and tasted this bag, that bag, this bag, that bag, back and forth. NO DIFFERENCE! ¡ ! SOOOOO, Lay's in economy wrapper. How you may ask? IT'S SIMPLE. Great Value buys it from Lay's BEFORE the sdvertizing cost is added to the product, keeping the price down. SIMPLE ECONOMICS. … Nuff Sayd
I'm comparing these to Kettle brand chips as that is what I normally get. They didn't seem as spicy as Kettle brand. Other than that there was little distinguishable difference. The crunch was still there, they tasted good with sour cream, and budget friendly.
I've always loved this product, but this purchase of these jalapeno chips this time, there's something different, it's like if they're they put like more cheese on them and it gives them a powdery stale flavor, please take this back to the way they were thank you
These are bland and completely flavorless. The crunch, texture and appearance is right but there's absolutely NO JALAPEÑO FLAVOR. It doesn't even taste like potato, just oil crisps. 😆 Bad product Great Value, come on. I'd get a refund on this but why bother. Please add flavor to the chips. Won't be repurchasing!Very disappointing.
