Great Value Key Lime Pie, 32 oz (Frozen)

Before, I decided to purchase this pie, I did read the reviews. Everyone has their own preference in what they like and it's understandable. I decided to go ahead and purchase it and I for one love this pie. To me it tasted no different than the other leading name brand but with less sugar in the crust. The tartness of the filling, and it is sweet but not too sweet, so you want get a sugar rush...I enjoyed it and will be purchasing it again and the price is worth it

Nice size. Good price . Filling %26 Creme topping pretty good BUT that crust is terrible. It's too thick and tastes like ground cardboard( not that I've eaten ground cardboard). Change that crust %26 you'll have a competitive product . I usually love Great Value products.

The filling tasted like key lime pie filling. It wasn't stellar, but it did satisfy that craving. The real issue comes with the crust. It had almost no flavor. Assuming it's a graham cracker crust, it had almost no real flavor nor offered anything to the pie. It definitely took away from enjoying the pie as the texture was good, but the lack of flavor just made me feel like I was eating something I shouldn't be. The whipped cream topping was creamy in texture, but it really didn't have the kind of flavor or sweetness you'd expect. Definitely made for the highest profit margin and not the consumer.

This is the worst pie I have ever eaten in my entire life. The texture is mushy, kind of like a paste, and it tastes more like lime air freshener than actual key lime. I took two bites, and the rest went into the trash. Spend the extra couple of bucks and get Edwards or Marie Callender's.

Too sour, nothing was sweet enough. The texture of the crust isn't like graham cracker, it taste like gluten free. Just a little tweaking would make it good but I guess that's just too much to do. Will never buy this again, and make sure I tell people I know that it's not worth the $6

I ordered an Edward's Key Lime Pie, and y'all keep sending me this crap. I feel like y'all do this on purpose because nobody would ever intentionally pick this over any other brand. This "pie" is disgusting! I know y'all see these reviews. Discontinue this item and never try it again.

This is so bad. People who have rated thia five star must not have ever had a different key lime pie before. The taste is just bad. It dont even taste like key lime! And I never choose this. it's always a substitute. And I cry every time. Don't get this, spend the extra dollar for Edward's or Marie Callender's.

The taste was totally disgusting, way too citrusy, almost tasted lemony for some reason. The color was also off and not really appealing. Definitely stick with the Edwards or Mari Callender Key Lime Pies, this one isn't worth the store brand discount at all.

Filling was grainy, didn't taste like lime, and the topping had a weird taste and texture. I buy Great Value all the time and have never really had a problem with quality. This is a huge disappointment. Especially since this was a replacement for a replacement that I didn't aporove.

it didn't taste like a key lime pie. the crust was cardboard and the key lime was too tart and the lime was artificial Edwards used to make a great pie. real merengue and big cookies for the crust edge. this pie was also about 8" and looked more like a tart than a pie. Walmart, find another baker. Please.
