Yes, whether you are lactose tolerant or not, you need to pick up this milk. It may cost slightly more but you will not be throwing away this milk in a week. The Use By date is further out so you have a little more time to use it up. Looks the same. Tastes the same. I have to use this milk so my stomach doesn't get upset. This brand is equivalent to the name brand except you get to save $$$$. I recommend this for everyone. Who does not want to save money??
i have to drink this kind of milk because of my intolerance...i use to drink the 1%...until husband was drinking the 2%,...then i decided drinking his 2percent....its a delicious taste and is pretty much what we drink and use and i use it a lot...a good buy
This is the only milk I buy due to lactose intolerance, and it tastes exactly like regular milk but without the punishment. I'm so grateful that Great Value offers lactose-free milk, as the only option years ago was the expensive name-brand. Now I can afford to buy lactose-free milk and enjoy milk again. Thanks, Great Value, and thank you, Walmart!
I have only recently purchased lactose free milk and costs a little more than regular milk, but it stays fresh longer and can finish the entire carton without throwing any away. I bought regular 2% to confirm this, and I did throw away some of the std 2% milk and now buying the lactose free regularly, can't tell a difference in taste, same nutrition, and it does last longer. The little difference in price is well worth it. I am not lactose intolerant and got it accidentally on first purchase and glad did. It is now my standard purchase. The expiration date on carton was longer also.
Taste and texture is just like regular milk. My 5 year old granddaughter can't get enough of it. It acts a little janky when mixed with raw eggs; however, it's never messed up a recipe. Finally, it lasts so long and is the perfect substitute for regular milk if you're single.
My lactose-intolerant daughter has been drinking this milk since she was a year old! She's 5 now and still drinks it everyday. It's never upset her upset like other milk has. My other daughter said it has a sweet taste but I've personally never tried it. I just know my little one loves it!
I love that lactose free milk stays fresh much longer than regular milk. Yes, it's a bit more expensive but it's so much easier on my stomach to digest. Plus, I'm a single person living alone and milk will usually spoil before I use it, but not this kind. So, I guess I save money even though it cost more upfront by not throwing away spoiled milk and buying more often. FYI: 80% of people in the US have a milk sensitivity and many don't know it. Try this type and see if you feel better. I sure did!
this is okay but was bothering me so have switched to your other lactose free in the red carton . it is doing fine. cost little more but for my tummy i will have to use it. also on both of the lactose free cartons. it is very hard to get the cap off . especially for someone with Arthritis.
Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing here. I complained that there were missing items from my order and this was one of them. Looking at my card this morning you still didn't credit my card. Its easy to take the money but so hard for you to give it back.
Left outside in the sun instead of waiting for me to get to the door.. Product is usually good but your driver should be fired. I am handicapii po ed and I require a handoff for all deliveries as stated in delivery instructions. I was making a list. You took the list and make it into a dozen deliveries that I am not able to get!
