Yes, whether you are lactose tolerant or not, you need to pick up this milk. It may cost slightly more but you will not be throwing away this milk in a week. The Use By date is further out so you have a little more time to use it up. Looks the same. Tastes the same. I have to use this milk so my stomach doesn't get upset. This brand is equivalent to the name brand except you get to save $$$$. I recommend this for everyone. Who does not want to save money??

bought for a weekend with lactose kid. i tried it out of curiosity and was very surprised. very very close to 2% or whole milk. very smooth and creamy. slightly sweet but not enough to be turned off by it. i would drink it, only thing is needs to be consumed quickly, does not stay fresh long, we made it about 4 days

My lactose-intolerant daughter has been drinking this milk since she was a year old! She's 5 now and still drinks it everyday. It's never upset her upset like other milk has. My other daughter said it has a sweet taste but I've personally never tried it. I just know my little one loves it!

this is actually better than the regular 2% milk from Walmart. the great value brand. we bought it initially for a guest and discovered it is creamier and more flavorful than the other 2% regular milk. I never had the major brand or other store brands of this, but this one's is good enough for us to keep reordering it just for the flavor of it

This is the only milk I buy due to lactose intolerance, and it tastes exactly like regular milk but without the punishment. I'm so grateful that Great Value offers lactose-free milk, as the only option years ago was the expensive name-brand. Now I can afford to buy lactose-free milk and enjoy milk again. I have a combo of lactose intolerance and a sensitivity to milk proteins so I don't imbibe milk straight up as a beverage- it's reserved mostly for cooking. However, there are times I'm out of milk alternatives and want something in my cereal or smoothie, so I reach for some dairy milk. I do tolerate this in smaller quantities than I tolerate Lactaid brand. IDK if it's the amount of lactase they add, or the dairy they use and whatevver cows they're milking, but it's not awful. Also- Lactose free milk isn't lactose free, it's lactase added for ease of digestion- and it makes milk last 4x longer than regular. Everyone should buy it for that purpose alone .

Milk is good, and it is nice that they have an alternative to the name brand, however, I had to deduct stars because of the price. A half gallon carton (the ONLY size available) is about the same price as a full gallon of "regular" milk. As someone with a very limited grocery allowance, over $6 for a gallon of milk is not a "Great Value".

I don't know what's going on with Great Value Lactose Free milk but this is the second time I have bought it and it has gone bad way before the expiration date!! I am so aggravated! I buy lactose-free milk specifically because it lasts so long. When this happened the first time, several weeks ago, I thought maybe it was because I kept the milk in the door of the refrigerator. So, the next time I bought it, I kept it in the back of the fridge where it is extra cold. I bought this last carton. I just took out the carton to make some gravy, tasted the milk and it is sour and disgusting! Today is July 14th and the milk has an expiration date on the carton of August 11th! Not acceptable, Great Value! You are letting me down, big time!

Left outside in the sun instead of waiting for me to get to the door.. Product is usually good but your driver should be fired. I am handicapii po ed and I require a handoff for all deliveries as stated in delivery instructions. I was making a list. You took the list and make it into a dozen deliveries that I am not able to get!

Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing here. I complained that there were missing items from my order and this was one of them. Looking at my card this morning you still didn't credit my card. Its easy to take the money but so hard for you to give it back.
